Ease Of Installation

They just work!  These newer zwave plus models have some nice features, are more ubiquitous, and hopefully will last longer than the first generation.  Expensive,  but occasionally can be found on sale for less than $30 apiece.  Great technology and solidly built.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE Z Wave Smart Switch is pretty easy to install and uses a neutral wire. So convenient, one button on your smart phone and you can turn your lights on or off. You can even schedule your lights! Love these so much. Great to oair with the fan controller and other smart devices as well. This only took about 20 to 30 minutes to install.
You can also use with any light bulbs for single or multi switches and control from anywhere. I have had a great experience with these so far and definitely recommend getting these for beginning to make your home smart!

It works as a 3-way or 4-way switch on a circuit in your house as long as you have the GE primary switch in that circuit. One cool feature is that up is always on, down is always off, and if your primary switch is a summer then this one will also dim the lights. So, instead of a single dimmer on a multi-switch circuit, you have dimmer capabilities on every switch.

Now, I don't have to get out of bed every night to turn the light off, or get up and stumble over everything to turn it on in the morning.  This handy light switch connects with your smart phone to easily turn on and off whenever you like.  I would highly recommend it.

This will save me so much on the electric and make my dog thrilled. My boyfriend installed it with out cussing it out lol so it must of been easy to install as well.

Can you say awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am just in love with the smart wall switch. This has eased my life a great deal. I travel a lot and I am up and out of my house and this which is the perfect solution to let people know that I am still there. It is very easy to set up and very easy to operate on your smart phone or tablet. This is amazing and I am surprised that I have not gotten this earlier. It has a sleek modern look into it and it blends in with your decor. I definitely prefer this then giving keys to my neighbor or my friend to check on my house. With this I can activate it from any location and turn the lights on or off and also have a time set for when they come on. I am so happy and thrilled about this product and I would highly recommend it to anybody.

The Best Smart Switch

I don't really see myself reaching for my phone every time I need to turn my light on and off but this will make a cool Christmas gift for people who enjoy electronics.

Smart light switch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hope that soon I can convert my whole house to this system, because it works, and works well.  
I'm in love with Z-wave products!  I use Alexa, and I had no problem “discovering” and us ng the switch after install.

The install can be a bit confusing if you aren't super familiar with wiring (like me), but after a false start or two, once I'd turned the breaker back on it worked like a charm.  There is a blue LED that lets you know it's ready to function.  My house has older receptacle boxes, so it was a tight fit, but with patience you can get it done.  

You will need a hub to interact with Alexa, FYI.  I was concerned about buzzing being an issue, but not a peep for me so I'm very pleased in that front!

It takes a bit to familiarize the manual functioning, though honestly I hardly use them that way, preferring my voice or mobile device, and what can be easier than telling them what to do aloud?!

I am very happy with the product and definitely recommend!!

Makes life on the go that much easier!!
