I've gone out of my way several times to find Jealous Devil XL lump charcoal because they make the best lumps for long smokes in my Komodo. I was excited to see they make pellets, and I really like this blend of wood. They are fantastic!

I like the clean smoke flavor it produces, I like the way it smoothly travels through the auger, and it lasts a lot longer than other brands that I have tried.
I really like the pour feature on the box.
It works well, and is easier to stack. No wrestling with the bags.

Premium pellets for an Average price

Was excited to try these pellets!  Jealous Devil did not disappoint.  I have used Jealous Devil lump charcoal and the pellets were exactly as I was hoping.  They burned at a constant temp with the perfect flavor profile and very little ash.  My brisket was a family hit!   I read other reviews and had no issues with Walmart delivery.  The box was in perfect shape and utilitarian.

Pellets burn extremely hot, with no issues maintaining a good cooking temperature and with very little smoke compared to other brands that I have used in the past. This is now my new go to. Also great packaging too!

Excellent Pellets!

I've tried many brands of pellets over the years and these are by far my favorite. You do end up paying a little more per pound than grabbing a big of the big name pellets, but the quality is vastly superior with the Jax. Perfect blend for any type of grilling or smoking.

Despite the plentiful dust, which admittedly does tend to leak from the box packaging, I found no negative impact on the cooking process. There was no discernible extra dust accumulation during cooking, a testament to the pellets' intrinsic quality. While the packaging could use some improvement for better dust containment, the superior quality of the pellets themselves compensates for this minor inconvenience.

Even though the dust issue was somewhat noticeable, it's important to remember that this is a natural occurrence with wood pellets. The key takeaway here is that these pellets maintained their performance and did not compromise the end result: delicious, smoky, and savory BBQ.

To conclude, the Jealous Devil Jax BBQ pellets are an absolute asset for any BBQ enthusiast.
