Ease Of Use

We bought this to test our hot tub water.
Had never used one of those before, but it is very straight forward.
Great product for the price, definitely cheap than the others I looked at.

What's not to like?

Does what it says..

I needed this for my equipment for iron in my water. It is easy to use and gets quick results. Only two bottles are necessary to get results. I would recommend this product.

easy first time user

Checked my pool when I got the Standard Dual Test Kit and my water is fine. Didn't need to do anything else. It is easy to use and easy to read.

Easy to use!

This item was a described and very easy to use. This is the first pool that I have owned and this test kit makes it really easy to keep up on the chemicals needed.

Easy test kit for beginners

The chlorine reading on the tester has all the same shades of yellow. This makes it very difficult to know the correct ideal range your pool should have.

I tested my pool several times over a week and got consistently high ph, bromine and chlorine levels. I was concerned and I thought I needed to buy chemicals to lower all three levels. I called Pinch-a-penny pool store and was told to bring in a sample of the water. They did a test that came in much different then the jed test kit. My ph level was fine and the chlorine was slightly high plus they tested a lot of other things the jed kit does not test. Pinch-a-penny did not try to sell me anything even thought I was ready to buy. They told me the chlorine would dissipate on it's own and come back in a week or two for another free test. I am going to see if walmart will let me return this jed water test kit.

Not very accurate

This item was missing the yellow bottle when it arrived. I had to take pictures and email them to the company in order to get a refund. Bic Warehouse was the name, and I'll never buy anything from them again. Be careful when you're on Walmart.com, as ypou're not always buying frm Walmart !

Missing bottle

When I received my package it was sealed. The blue box contained the two bottles of liquid but no container to perform the test in.

Missing Tester

No differentiation between shades of yellow on the chlorine side making it impossible to tell what your level of chlorine is.  Dont waste your money!!!!!

Not worth spending your money.
