nice compact player for small places sounds good. Only thing I don't like is the location  for headset plug-in with it being in the back of the unit your headsets have to be pretty long.  I use this at work so I have to turn the unit with the back towards me then can't read face, otherwise I keep puling the headphones off my head. Other than that I don't have a problem with it, works GREAT so far

I love this radio/cd player. The sound is surprisingly good for a boombox. The controls to go forward or back on a cd are very easy to use. And the box is compact, and I have to say, CUTE (and I would not call any other boombox cute!!).

Love this radio/cd player

I really like this compact easy to use radio/CD player. It's on any shelf sound just good has a lot of extras. Especially great when the electricity goes out, you still have contact via radio. Takes C batteries or you can plug it in to the electrical outlet.

Perfect small CD player - good sound

Sound is fantastic (for me! :) I love playing cd's while working in the kitchen, or out in the backyard. I plug it in the outdoor outlet on my backporch and bbq to it. :)   

I LOVE not being dependent on wi-fi or internet working...%26 not having to charge my phone (%26 hunt down charge cords or cubes)....I LOVE not having to listen to advertisements if I don't pay for "premium" subscriptions of spotify, prime music, etc. etc...I love not having to wade thru bawdy ads thrown at me just to find "my" music.  

I can just old-school put the cd, push play %26 listen! So straightforward and yes - old-school. ;)  Refreshing.  

($1 CD'S at antique and thrift stores and garage sales aren't a bad thing either. :)) 

And so far, CD's are playing great!  I did take heed though, to the other reviews saying after about 100 plays, the CD mechanism stops working...beCAUSE alas, my LAST Jensen CD/Radio (exact same model but gold/black colors) did just that.  :( I was so sad.   After about 6 months of playing cd's the CD option just stopped working...Hence the 4 Stars and not 5. 

Radio and bluetooth still work fine.    

I  called Jensen to ask what I could tinker with...they were very nice %26 responsive but said they would have to replace the whole CD mechanism.  It costs about $45 for parts and labor..and since it was past  1 year warranty, I would have to mail it in.  They don't sell the mechanism for us to try repairing it. 

Sooooo she advised me to take advantage of the 1 year warranty it comes with automatically if the cd's stopped again...and then they would cover all repair.   So I kept the box and manual to send back if needed.  She said all we needed was just to take a screenshot of the purchase online from Walmart and print that out and put it in the box with the cd player if we need to ship it back for repair. That's it!

Still love it...2nd Jensen CD/Radio purchase

Please note if you are looking to bluetooth external speakers that is not what the bluetooth does.  It allows you to attach a bluetooth device to it so you can play through it.

Good product

Jensen  music system was a great fit in my wife's office. Wanting something that did not take up a lot of space but also sounded decent.

Makes a clicking sound as the c.d. turns.

In 5 years, I bought 4 of them at a different time. They all went out of order in less than 2 years. I just recently got a new one and we will see how it goes. I personally like the size and want to give it a try.  I do know that this is probably the last time we bought this brand. Overall, this is not recommended.
