I purchased this for my 8 year old son after his 2 year old brother broke his other cd player. We were able to mount this on the wall out the of the way and it works great. He gets his favorite channel (radio Disney) which was really important to him. I would recommend this as a cheaper alternative for a radio. Sound quality isn't outstanding but we weren't looking for that, just something to get out of the way of the 2 year old and play music.

I have only had this item a very short time, but use it every day.  It is easy to setup and includes a template for wall mounting with hardware included.  I preset my favorite stations and can use the remote to do all I need to do.  You will not be disappointed with this item , if you are simply looking for a low cost option.

GREAT LITTLE WALL MOUNT STEREO SYSTEM

purchased this for my brother for his bedroom.  he is ill and not able to get out much so we are trying to make his life as comfortable as possible in each room.  he set this up in his bedroom - fits on his nightstand and gives him to ability to listen to his cd's while he falls asleep or when he wakes during the night and is unable to fall back to sleep.  Like he said, it's not what you would want as your main system, but for the bedroom on a lower volume it's great.

decent system

this little stereo offers a lot for the price.......remote control, AM, FM with presets, alarm function, CD player and it has a headphone jack which is important because I live in a condo and don't want to bother my neighbors.  I would have given this five stars if it had x bass like my other Jensen stereo has.

like it

I bought this for my office (there was no sound card in my PC), speakers sound a little tinny, but I had a better set that I plugged in and frankly wasn't expected a BOSE system sound for the low price I paid. I like the fact that is either stand alone or wall mounted. When I leave this job, I'll have a nice little bedroom stereo, as there is a built in alarm clock. Attractive little unit, good price, works for my needs.

Nice Player and sounds good but you would think that if it has an input for MP3 players that the CD Player would play MP3s but it does not a big down fall and shipping was slow! I will keep it but I am disappointed it does not play MP3s!

Nice Player and sounds good but !

This is a really nice, small, wall or table mounted stereo to have. Gives great sound and has a little remote too. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who just wants to have a stereo/CD player in their room for personal use. Worth the money!

Great player for the price

Love the set.  Worked perfectly in my home office.   Once I moved it to the bedroom my favorite station would not come in - will probably have to relocated to another area of bedroom (and adjust the cord/wire antennae) but my second favorite station comes in perfectly.  Sound is "great", have not used cd yet.  For anyone that is wondering this radio does not have a "metal" antennae.  Overall I am very satisfied.  Have not been disappointed in anything I have ordered from Walmart.com.  In the last thirty days I've ordered about $300 worth of merchandise - five stars rating for EVERYTHING and I happen to be VERY picky.

Jensen Wall Mount CD System with AM/FM Stereo

bought the stereo for my parents they loved it the only problem i have is that
the volume is so low had it turned up all the way and father had trouble still hearing it
hes a little hard of hearing but other than that my parents were really happy with it just needs more volume would by it again its a nice sytem lite weight and easy to transfer

I ordered this stereo for my room since I've gone without one for so long. It came in the mail, barely two days after ordering. It came very quickly! The main complaint about the whole thing I have is that the CD player didn't even work... the radio worked pretty well, but I tried and tried and the CD player would run, scan the disks, and then reply with an Error message. We ended up taking it back to our local Walmart and got a different stereo system. An ONN and it works really well. The sound is great, the CD player and Radio work well on this one. Plus, I like the ONN disk opener much better. the Jensen was very cheaply made, I was almost worried I'd break it! :O

Didn't work

The system is easy to assemble. It seemed to run well for the first hour. The sound from it suddenly diminished in volume and a distorted sound came out. Power cycling didn't help. I also noticed sound was only coming out of one speaker. Swapping speaker jacks showed only one output working. I'm very disappointed in this product.

Failed within the hour
