I was impressed with the fast delivery and excellent price for this book. I had received Jesus Calling from my sister, it is such an exceptional book! At first I was a little thrown off by the way the author used 'Jesus" as first person singular, "I", "ME", "MINE". Wasn't sure I agreed with that form of expression to assume that He was saying those words. But once I go over that, and realized God inspires many of us to write in various ways, and just started to read, I found myself looking forward to the next day's reading. Sarah Young adds just the right scripture for Bible reference at the end of each day's writing so one can read a verse or two from the Bible as well. She even puts in the Bible version she used. I was so impressed that I ordered 2 more from Wal-Mart to give as gifts to friends. One for a Birthday and one for a friend that was grieving over the tragic loss of 3 family members. Good job Sarah Young!

God will speak to your heart through this book and slowly get you into his word, the Bible. A supernatural change will happen over time in your life by starting to read this book .....so if you don't want  A powerful change in your life don't read it. But for those of you who are ready to take your life to another level and a relationship with your Savior, Jesus Christ , then run to get this book !

What a helpful book.  I am reading it to a home-bound elderly lady, and the BOTH of us get such encouragement from it -- as well as conversation starters.  Helps her remember times past when she can relate to situations mentioned.

Someone gave me a copy of this book and I TREASURE it!! If you are longing for a deeper walk with Jesus, take His hand in one of yours and a copy of this devotional in the other...And I trust you know Him in a deeper way...There IS no other purpose in life but knowing and serving Him and being conformed into His image.

I've been using this devotional book for the last 2 years and I really love it! I bought one for each of my children's families for this Christmas stocking stuffers.

Great Devotional!

The leather covered book was wrapped in a paper envelope (not plastic lined, like most mailer envelopes). Delivery time was fantastic (three days before stated delivery date, so not expecting that day). Even though there was an unlocked storm door @ front door or a covered carport and door 20 feet away, the delivery carrier left package lying flat on front steps in the rain. I was not home on day of delivery (see statement above -won't be delivered for 3 days). Item was soaked through. After drying out, cover is warped and pages wrinkled with some print bleeding. This was purchased as a present for my wife --not acceptable now. Sorry that I expected professional behavior by companies involved. Won't use home delivery again...
