I was really pleased to receive this candle, which was purchased as a gift for a friend. The candle smells lovely and it's a perfectly presented gift as it comes boxed and with matches. I opted to be sent a Jo Malone bag instead of a gift box, love that they have this option (at no extra cost). Always difficult purchasing gifts online but really pleased with this purchase

This candle is absolutely gorgeous. The smell is heavenly. Found it a little overpowering after it had been burning for a couple of hours so you don't need to burn it for ages to fill the room with fragrance. This is my favourite JM candle of the ones I have tried so far.

This candle is gorgeous

I received this as an anniversary gift from my husband. The candle was engraved and was packaged so nicely. The scent is just gorgeous! I had peonies in my wedding bouquet and this candle brings me back to our summer wedding. The candles fills the room with a gorgeous scent of peonies. I'll be dropping hints to try and make this an annual anniversary gift.

CHIC & PRETTY

I took a punt with this candle after seeing it as the newest addition to the Jo Malone Home Fragrance line and wasn't disappointed. Whilst the actual fragrance is soft and powdery, it's not feint and it fills a room. It's very sumptuous and is a gorgeous backdrop scent for a dinner party, everyone who comes to our home when this scent is burning comments on it. I'd definitely recommend this home candle, it's something I've continued to buy and will do in the future.

Soft & sumptuous

This was my first ever Jo Malone purchase and it really is a beautiful candle. I bought it from the Brook Street branch and I have to say as a first experience to Jo Malone it was a lovely one. The stylist was very helpful, friendly and patient whilst I struggled to make up my mind over all the beautiful different candles! This candle has a beautifully subtle scent. Initially I thought the fragrance was perhaps too soft, but after a few burns the scent has really started to come out and it easily fills my room.

A beautiful subtle scent

I purchased this as a gift and unfortunately delivery was very slow (8 days from order) and I wasn't able to give the gift on the recipients birthday so I've still to see it opened. On the plus side it arrived beautifully packaged with gift bag and a complementary gift. I will definitely order again and hopefully delivery will be speedier.

Lovely Gift

The candle itself smells great. It has a lovely floral scent which is slightly sweet, and makes a room feel fresh, yet still warm - the way a candle should. I had originally bough one for my parents as a gift, and after smelling it in the store, I returned five minutes later to buy myself one. In terms of burning time it lasts a standard time for a candle of its size i.e. about 20 hours or possibly a bit more. So far as candles go, it's expensive however I don't think how much it costs an hour sounds too expensive, so it really depends on how you look at it. A reduction to 4 ribbons is because of two things: price, and quality. Price, because I don't feel that any candle of this size can be of this price can be good value unless it performs another function - like doing the dishes for you. (Albeit, it's a luxury, and I continue to buy it.) In respect of quality and as noted by another reviewer, it does emit black smoke even with a maintained wick and it does begin to give the rim of the candle a black coat. This looks a bit unsightly.

Fragrant and powerful

I love Jo Malone products, and this candle was such a luxury to have in the house, just a beautiful floral scent that filled the room with such a luscious smell! For the price the smell could probably have been stronger and filled more of the house but it worked fine in the kitchen and threw a gorgeous aroma.

Beautiful treat

The candle is beautiful, and for a small candle it had good throw. However you are let down by your social media help. My candle arrived let despite paying for next day delivery. Your Facebook team read my message, but ignored. Your twitter team read several messages, but ignored. I rang up and the best I could be offered was a re order and standard delivery. Your products are expensive so as a loyal customer I expect better service than this.

Pretty disappointed with this travel size candle. The wax inside the container is weirdly tilted up, and there's a distinguishable hollow part on the bottom of the wax. Originally planned to give to my friend as a gift but sadly have to give it up because of the blemish. Besides, I can barely smell the fragrance when lighting it up. Pretty disappointed with the purchase.
