I have always loved the fit of Jockey underwear. But I recently discovered I'm allergic to "blue dispersal dye", which apparently is in all dark clothing. Thank god that mystery is solved! No more black undies, ever! So I stocked up on white Jockeys. The fit is still great.  Even better than before, actually, as there is a bit more material. And when you get a 12 pack directly from their site, the price is excellent.

Very comfortable for sleeping in overnight (though I wear boxers during the day). I like the fact that these briefs are low-rise: They sit below the waist to prevent "undie exposure" (or wardrobe malfunction) when not wearing a shirt (yes, I am modest and wear trousers that sit at my waist). Awesome "butt-huggers".

Comfortable Low-rise Briefs

I've uses Jockey Classic Briefs for many decades.  But when I looked to order more after several years, I found they weren't just labeled "Classic Briefs", but "Low Rise" or "Full Rise".  Not realizing this change, I first ordered what turned out to be full rise, and returned them. They were obviously not like I had had before.  I then ordered the low rise. I did find they were cut slightly different - slightly lower then the original, the leg opening a little higher in the front, and the crouch a little wider.  But they are close enough.  I just wish these changes in cut were better revealed in the description, rather than having to determine it on my own.

Changes to Classic Briefs

I have always worn Jocky underwear regular briefs, so I decided to try the low rise briefs and found out they are too small and tight. What made me try the low rise briefs I had a couple pairs of Bambas low rise briefs and they fit perfect, so I thought the Jockey brand would be the same...nope disappointed.

Too small 34 waist.

I ordered and received my size 40" briefs. When I tried them on, they fit well. However, after the first washing, they shrunk so much that they no longer fit. I love wearing this underwear when it fits properly, and it pains me to provide a review where I am dissatisfied.

I have size 34 waist, so I usually order and wear an "L" for a low-rise cotton brief. When I saw from other's comments that these ran small, I thought about ordering up one size to 36. As a precaution, I ordered up two sizes and went with the 38. After one wash they were smaller in size/area than any other underwear I own. Too tight. VERY uncomfortable. Cheap fabric. If I ordered a 40 ("XL") they might fit, but I think I would need to have a size 42 to offset the small initial size and shrinking in the washer/dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been worn the Jockey brief for over 30years. I was used to wear size 36 before and very comfortable. I bought the size 36 two years ago in Illinois and they are perfect. But the 36 I received this year is very very tight, very uncomfortable. Why they did not have the consistence in the size you produced?

I ordered two dozen size 38 men's  briefs and the size was ridiculously small - I think they must have been tagged incorrectly.  I have been. Wearing this same size for the past 20 years and have never had this issue. I would return them but I have already washed them so I will have to eat the cost this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have replaced my exact same sized briefs, but these are entirely different in terms of fit. That is, they are like a different product in that they are not just small, but shrinkflation Small to where they are not comfortable and are essentially unusable / uncomfortable, and obviously unwearable.

Repeat, buyers, beware of new much smaller sizes for same measurement

Not sure what happened to these underwear, my husband who has worn a 34 for the last 20 years no longer fits in them!  He has not changed in weight but the underwear were WAY TOO small, looked like for a 12-year-old.  So we ordered 38's based upon others reviews and these were too large.  We just gave up and will look for another brand of underwear.....
