I wore these shorts during a recent trip to Florida. They are the perfect length for me -- I'm tall. I have only had them for a month but they filled a void and I'm loving them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second pair of these shorts and I bought them because I liked the first pair so much.  I typically wear them for workout sessions and/or walks.  The pockets are deep enough to hold my phone or key fob when on a walk.  They stay in place during intense cardio sessions and are fine to wear when completing a quick errand.

Comfy workout shorts.

These are great.  I'm not sure what problems other reviewers were having regarding the waist but I don't find it bulky... nice and flat and easy to secure.  Really love how much cotton is in these.  I got a size Medium 5'4" around 145 pounds and they fit great.

These shorts are comfortable and have great pockets.  The fabric is not too heavy, not too light.  Just right.

Great fit

I ordered these, because of my most comfortable older pair, that only had a small amount of elastic, and more of just a loose drawstring waistband. I am a petite small, and the elastic band feels like wearing a girdle its so large and tight. Rest of shorts great.

Like your older style of waistbands much better.

Wasn't what I ordered.  I ordered 3 pair, different colors.  The black pair is a completely different short than what was ordered
  It's also 2 sizes too big

The fit is comfy but waistband is very wide, making it heavy and warm around the waist. The fabric is very thin, like a lightweight T-shirt. And the stitching is poor quality-the back seat seam came apart in the first wash, leaving a 2 inch split. Since it had already been worn and washed, and because I have sewing skills, I repaired the seam myself. Was quicker than calling Customer Service, trying to get a return authorization, finding a box, and driving to UPS store. But I won't be ordering this item again..

Thin fabric and defective seams -will not buy again

The shorts were fabulous but the elastic that was used for the waist was far too strong.  These comfortable shorts need to have a gentle elastic and not so thick.
