Tried Elance women's on a whim many years ago when I noticed them on the website advertised alongside the guys style.  Have since stopped wearing guys Elance.  More comfortable fit, with more varied colors than the plain guys Elance and other competitors choices.  Odd that the women's medium fit nicer than the guy's medium, but like many others have stated, glad I took the chance.  They work.

They have just the right amount of elastic and the waist and legs. And they come in very attractive colors and patterns. I have been an elegance hipster wear for many many years.

Wearing these many years

The Jockey Elance Hipsters are the only underwear I wear as they fit well and are basically comfortable. I just wish Jockey would make a 100% cotton hipster with a wider, flatter waistband that won't dig in as much. The thin waistband that they currently come with are tolerable, but they would be infinitely more comfortable with a wider, flatter waistband.

These are the closest I've found to the amazing soft cotton undies I purchased a few years ago. I think they were "heathered" or something, but they are my favorite and I've been trying to find them ever since. It seems that you don't seem to carry them anymore.  These are comfortable and fit well, but they do not have the same softness. It would be really helpful if you could put the code (model#?) inside the pants along with brand name, etc.  Because once you find undies you like, you want more of them!

Very nice, but not exactly what I was looking for.

The hipsters fit well and I really like the fabric covered elastic. My only complaint is that the elastic seam on the right hip digs into my skin and is uncomfortable. Washing them before wearing did not help this. Perhaps over time it will be less irritating. I just didn't want to bother returning them.

There are some quality control issues with the hipsters. A couple were cut very irregularly and I was not able to wear them. Others in the packs were fine so I didn't want to return the whole pack. The sizing guidelines written on the package advise me to wear a size 5 according to my measurements. But in fact I need a size 7 to fit properly so your sizing is quite off. Jockey, please listen to your faithful customers and remedy this ongoing problem. I have read this same complaint about the quality control issues on many different websites. And I have had this same problem with your underwear over many years. You make nice underwear otherwise and I love all the colors and love that they are 100% cotton because that is what is healthiest for the female body. But someone needs to monitor quality control much better.

Jockey hipster

I like that these are 100% cotton however I don't like the how the fabric around the leg feels, it's uncomfortable to me. The Cotton Stretch Hipsters are a much better fit for me due to the elastic. I need that stretch!
For reference, I'm “curvy”(small waist and bigger hips and butt- I wear a size 10 dress and 30 jeans) and bought a size 7.

Great 100% cotton option

I like the Elance and have been wearing it in the bikini version for awhile . Decided to try the hipster version and although the quality seems similar , the sizing is about an inch smaller !  So I am pretty disappointed and thinking I should have returned them for a size up ?

Not the quality I've had in past orders (last year, 2 years ago). The elastic doesn't seem to be the same as it was before. Also, they shrunk a bit after the first wash/dry, making the elastic too tight. I didn't give them a lower rating because I do like the colors, just not the quality. There's also too much difference in size between the 7 and 8. The 8 is way too big, yet the 7 is too small.

I was a long-time loyal Jockey customer, but no longer. I've been buying Jockey underwear for decades and been pleased with the quality, fit and value. However, the fabric of the most recent underwear purchase was thin. Elastic stretched out in only 2 washings! And the feeling of wearing thin, falling down undies is very disconcerting. I won't be buying Jockeys again until I have assurances that quality has returned.
