This is my third time now buying this style of boxers. I absolutely LOVE the design and I often prefer shorter leg length on most shorts. The taper is wonderful if you're a pretty muscular and full legged guy. Color options are wide; I enjoy the traditional plaid ones but I do wish there were more ‘fun' options.

I don't buy any other boxers

Switched to the boxer style about 2 yrs ago. Thought I would try the tapered boxer. It has the comfort of the classic boxer but not as much material. I would recommend this product. Wish they came in more solid colors, other than white. It is a good compromise between the classic boxer and the boxer brief style.

Good compromise

I had been looking for sports cut(tapered) boxers for some time. I found the Jockey Tapered Boxers were an excellent fit for me. I play competitive soccer and hate it when my boxers or boxer briefs hang out from under my soccer shorts. These boxers are absolutely great, and they are comfortable even in the crotch area. They solid colors are good to wear under most of my uniform shorts without patterns showing through the material. I decided to try some of the plaids because I was wear full cut plaid boxers in the past.  Several of my team mates have switched to these boxers, and they all agree that they are comfortable and practical. I wish that Jockey would make them in more patterns solid colors!

Awesome Tapered Boxers

These are my favorite fit of all boxers. They move well and don't bind at the crotch. The elastic waistband died on my last pair, and I am hope these will last longer although they still don't seem to have a very wide elastic inside.

My favorite boxers

I have purchased these for over a decade because I love the cut/fit but the last couple of years it seems like the elastic used in the waistband is weak. Barely OK at the outset and then with a few washing/drying cycles the elastic is barely enough to keep them up without help from the outer pants belt.

Inadequate waistband

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit that these days I mostly just wear boxers to bed or lounging around the house on the weekends.  I used to buy Jockey brand tapered boxers for their more slim cut, short length, and quality fabric.  I don't like baggy boxers.

Recently, I feel they have fallen bellow expectations  Several months ago I bought a pair of Medium sized Jockey tapered boxers, but upon trying them I found them about tight especially in the front.  The waistband feels more loose and flimsy than with previous purchases and the fly opening was very short and high up above the crotch area.

I decided to give them another chance and so I went with a Large size thinking maybe I gained a few pounds.  While the Large size boxers were not tight or had a strange fly opening like my previous pair, they felt quite baggy which kind of defeats the purpose of being tapered.  I looked at the tags behind the Medium and Large sizes and noticed an interesting difference.  Medium is 32-34 and Large is 36-38.  What happened to 34-36?  That would have been perfect for me.

Looking at these reviews I can see that I'm not the only one complaining about these issues.  If only Jockey would listen and address these issues, they would get a 5-star rating from me.  I doubt I will buy from Jockey anytime soon.

Amazon used to have these great boxers from their Goodthreads brands, but sadly they are no longer in sale.

Boxers with Room for Potential

I love these shorts but wish they lasted more than a year.  They are comfortable next to the skin because of the cotton, but fast drying because the fabric is light and is a poly blend.  But after about a year the elastic loses its stretch and they no longer  stay up - and I don't even put them in the dryer.  I understand you want to offer these shorts at a low price point but couldn't you find a way to use better elastic?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like  the new colors and new patterns,    BUT  you still haven't listen to all the reviews about the wastband  you have a great  product  but haven't fixed the problem   it very unfortunate to have wasted money on them.

Tapered Boxers

I've worn Jockey boxers exclusively for close to 50 years. For the past few years the quality seems to have slipped. Just about every pair has a particular seam that is always the first to let go. The size of the boxers has been inconsistent for the past year or so. Sometimes new pairs are too small and other times they're just right. On top of the quality issue they seem to be more expensive relative to other brands. I'll be trying other brands.
