This is a very good board, I looked at a lot of boards and for the price and the quality of the wood it cannot be beat. I have done a fair amount of wood working and i think i know wood, This is a good board. Good size for our kitchen.

The board is lighter than expected which makes for easy moving. The rounded edges and finger grips on the side are the perfect touch. The board has held up very nicely. It such a beautiful piece that I don't mind it sitting on the counter. It could easily pass as decoration. The size is perfect. Not too big, not too small. Perfect to utilize as a cutting board and beautiful enough to serve on. I'm highly impressed with the quality and craftsmanship and would recommend to all my friends and family. It's a beautiful and functional piece.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cutting board is made out of high quality maple wood.  It's thick and heavy and looks beautiful.   I love using it to slice a brisket and ribs after smoking them all day. It also came with the maintenance kit to keep it sealed and looking beautiful so that you can keep it out on the kitchen counter all the time if you want.  I think that this thing will out last me and the next generation for sure.

The weight of the board is ideal, its heavy so it doesn't slide around and it's the perfect size for chopping multiple things or one large thing. It also has very convenient handles on the side of the board, making it very easy to move around and keep level when carrying with chopped items on it. You do want to get the boos oil with it to keep it clean and protected. So far this board hasn't looked dried out or cracked at all.

I came across Boos and did my research on them. As soon as I seen it was made in America I was sold! I watched the video of how they make these cutting boards and all I can say is wow. It is like each butchers Block is a piece of art that they create here in America. The cutting board is really big and thick which I like a lot. The board is smooth to the touch and it is beautiful. The gain in the board looks so nice and you can tell they put a lot of work into these boards. Maintance with this board is super easy. I bought the care maintenance kit and it helps keep the board looking new and nice. I have cut everything from steak to onions in this board and it doesn't look like it's even been used. I also like that the board isn't trapping in any smells from the foods I have had on the board. To me that is a major plus because I do not want the board to smell and stink up my home. The quality and craftsmanship that went into creating this board makes it truly a piece of art. I like the butchers block so much I leave it out on my counter and decorate it to match my tiered tray.  I am so happy with this board for many reason but I truly love that it is an American made product and the company has been around for years. If your looking for a new cutting board/ butchers block stop looking and buy it now. You will not be disappointed at all.
