The board is quite heavy so won't move around when you are using it. It is very versatile and you can use both sides. 

I use it as an everyday cutting board or as a serving board for entertaining for my charcuterie platter. I have received many complements on it.

Its made of wood so there is a little upkeep compared to using a plastic cutting board.  It is a solid cutting board that weighs enough to make it sturdy and it doesn't slide around.  It has the feel of a small butcher block.  Overall great cutting board and great addition to any kitchen.

But it is very high quality wood and looks very nice! I honestly have a little trouble washing it due to its size but otherwise it's a great cutting board.
