Great product!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This shampoo has changed my hair's life!!!  I received this #freeproduct through #trywithtopbox in exchange for my honest review. It's specifically designed for brunettes to help tone down that brassiness and helps revitalize your brunette.  Depending on how long you leave the shampoo on will depend on how cool-toned your hair turns out.  This product contains tone-correcting crushed blue pigments to keep your colour looking fresh.

Be careful with this product because it actually stains your hands. I'd wash my hair with gloves that are usually get that's included in those boxed dyes just so your hands don't turn blue.  It does come off eventually but not right away.  It says to leave in for about 4-5 minutes and left my hair a rich, luscious ashy brown!! 

The only thing I don't like about this formula was that that although initially my hair looks like I just walked out of a salon, within a few days it feels a bit flat like it's weighing down my hair.   In any case, I was immediately blown away by the quality of this shampoo because it's very comparable to that of a salon quality and this is a drugstore brand.  Pretty amazing!!  It really does help to neutralize those oranges to more cool-toned ashy brown.  I'm totally impressed!!!

My hair is soft, smooth, shiny, and the color just looks more rich and vibrant. My hair is natural, but these products are meant for natural or color-treated hair which I think is cool. Shampoo Review!

I am not a big fan of heavily perfumed products, but found this product to be mildly and pleasantly fragranced.  It produces the right amount of lather and leaves my hair fresh and clean. I am a natural brunette and this product seemed innovative as I've heard of purple shampoo for blondes, but never anything for brunettes.


 I really loved the scent of this product, it was subtle and nice. The blue colour in the shampoo is really concentrated  and very messy.  I felt like it would easily splat all over my shower walls and really stain my skin, and nails. Nothing a good scrubbing with soap can't fix, however it is a bit tedious finding random blue splats everywhere just when you think you've cleaned it all.

I did not see any noticeable changes in my hair, however I do plan on balyaging my hair like I have in the past and really can't wait to try it when my hair has lighter tones in it. Overall it was a nice smelling lathering shampoo - however I'd say its not really worth the mess it gives.

Not the shampoo I'll be reaching for...
