Hello, I have been using the luxurious volume hair fixative for fine hair on a daily basis for more than 5 years. I have always been extremely satisfied with this product. However, since the bottle changed to black and green I have problems with the vaporization of the product. Aside from the color of the bottle, it looks like something has changed in its design because since the release of this new bottle, I have returned to my 4th bottle of fixative that I have to throw away before it is empty because at some point, there is only air that comes out of the vaporizer and the fixative remains in the bottle. I had to throw away my last four half-full bottles because of this problem. I had never had this problem before with the old bottles (I always emptied them completely). I would like to know if there is something to fix this problem instead of throwing my bottles half full and also I would like to know if you plan to find a solution to fix the situation. I love your products, but if I have to throw away my bottles half full, I will stop using and buy a product from another brand. Thank you so much.

PROS:
- It's light
- It's not sticky
- It gets rid of frizz
- It gives amazing volume
- It doesn't leave residue
- It doesn't smell too strong

- It could be even lighter but other than that this product is perfect!!

my hair has been thinning out and fallout out consistently due to lupus and it has been impacting me severely so this was god send as it help to blow life into my lifeless and dull and limp hair. Especially at the front of my head there is no body but the minute I apply the product the results are amazing.

it does not leave a thick hard residue like other sprays the fine mist just settles right into your hair without making it known that its there.

hair feels light yet you can feel there is a lot of body and volume added. 

I was pleasantly surprised with the results.

This product is great! if I don't have my Extra Hold Hairspray my hair is a total mess.
I have shoulder length straight hair, which always gets up in the wind and i look like a total crazy hair at the end of my day.This hairspray not only adds volume, it holds my hair, and DOES NOT dry out my hair. I would recommend this product to anyone.I plan on getting the entire luxurious volume set in due time!
Also,My mom has straight flat long hair, and she always gets some of my luxurious volume hairspray to add "life" to her hair as she says.
I have also tried the root awakening collection! This is another AMAZING product. John Frieda makes 1 of the best hair products I have ever used.Would not trade it.

I received this product free to review from topbox and I am so glad I had this opportunity because this hairspray is great! I use hairspray usually when I curl my hair at home and I have tried a few different kinds but this one stands out for me. It had a nice hold without making my hair crunchy, it lasts throughout the day, I can run my fingers through my hair without it getting stuck ( since I spray 4 spritz it is enough else you might have stiff hair even with this), and most importantly for me the smell does not interfere or over power my perfume which is the biggest win for me personally since I always feel after hairspray that is all I can smell. It does have your average hairspray smell when applied but does not linger.

I bought this along with other Frieda products. It has excellent hold but do not think it performs any better than a cheaper brand. You need very little. Slight fragrance but not invasive.

Love the fine spray, holds well and not too stickey, rarely clogs like so many other sprays do, sister borrowed recently and now says she will switch her hairspray and buy this product too

I should start by saying I have really long, fine hair. Anytime I style it, I like to set it with a hairspray. Ice experienced though that many leave a crunchy, hard layer on my hair aka helmet head. This hairspray didn't though which I was happy about. I tried it on fresh curls. It was a nice fine mist, and covered evenly without having to use a lot. My curls remained in place and my hair wasn't hard at all! At the end of the day I was able to brush through my hair with ease. Great product!

No helmet head

Purchased product last month. Spay is super sticky and hard. Not for every day use. It could probably hold an undo through a party.  So not for me.  But aside from that it doesn't have a nozzle that works.  I have run it under hot water to remove residue and it still is unable to spray evenly.
