First let me say that shipping took forever, but I think this was an issue with usps, not walmart. It was 9 days late past the expected delivery date. But as a product, this did WONDERS for me. Like a miracle. It is kind of damaging, but I went in knowing that. I was careful about how long it stayed in my hair and it only needed a few minutes to do the job! I had arctic fox and manic panic green eyes mixed together in my hair and they had faded into this gross green/blue/yellow combo. Green is one of the hardest dyes to get out of hair. Not even five minutes and the color that I had spent days trying to get out of my hair (washing it a ton plus vitamin c treatments) was gone! I am so so happy with the result and it is such a relief to have my hair back. Make sure to care for your hair afterwards and give it plenty of conditioner and hair oil. I personally have been using olaplex.

I was hesitant to try this product with all the mixed reviews, but I'm so glad I did, and I'm thankful to a very thorough reviewer who helped me do this correctly, and I hope I can return the favor with mine.
I have used it on pink/red hair, and blue/green hair. I will say, this product does not work well with any red dye, and will just make your hair orange. So I personally DO NOT recommend for red dye, or pink dye with red in it. This does wonders on green and blue dye, so I DO recommend for blue and green dyes.
For reference of this review and photos attached, my hair was dyed Aquamarine from Arctic Fox.
If your hair is damaged at all, DO NOT use this product. This product will damage your hair even further, and as much as it says it isn't bleach, it is.
A few days, to a week leading up to the dye, deep condition your hair, even do an oil mask a few days or a day before to make sure your hair is hydrated and healthy, but make sure your hair does not have oil on before this application, and that your hair is dry and not wet.
My hair was faded (as you can see from the photos attached). I spent a few weeks leading up to the dye, fading it from it's original dye color (also attached), using anti dandruff shampoo, and washing my hair in hot water pretty much daily.
After I achieved the lighter fade, I used "Salon Care 10 Vol Creme", (can purchase on Amazon, I bought the 4oz bottle, and I used 10 Vol because my hair was faded and it is less damaging than the recommended 20vol) and used the one 4oz bottle per packet of Joico.
For my hair length, I needed 2 packets, and could have even used 3. So order more than you think!
I applied the mixture and let it sit on my head, in a shower cap, for about 20-30 minutes, and washed it out. I did check it frequently to make sure the color was getting lighter, and that it wasn't frying my hair. I did the time that worked specifically for my hair, so your time may differ, and check frequently.
Again, this is bleach, so cover your whole head, root to ends, to get an even result.
I washed my hair in the shower, with lots of shampoo and conditioner, extra conditioner, and then used a purple shampoo to tone the yellow out. The purple shampoo I used was "Bold Uniq Hair Mask" and left it on my head for about 15 minutes, could have even done longer, and will follow up with it again to make my hair even more white. If that's not what you're looking for, one mask of purple shampoo for how ever long you want, should be enough to tone out the harsh yellow.
After I washed that out, I did a deep condition treatment, and left that in for about 30 minutes, and continued to deep condition my hair for a few weeks to rehydrate.
Treat your hair with the upmost care now, because this product will take some life out of it, but it works.
Also, definitely apply in a well ventilated room or outside. It is bleach, and smells awful.

Worked very well got the blue out of my hair. I wasn't too affected by the smell but it was too strong for my boyfriend. Does not smell like rotten eggs like others though. I have about 3-4 inches past shoulder length hair and I needed 3 packs. It does lighten your natural hair.

This is amazing on blue and purple! It got my hair to blonde. Do not use on damaged hair !!! This is bleach based!

This product took out all the pink color from my hair. I was very impressed. I tried dish soap which kind of worked but this stuff, amazing results.

Loved this item! I had dyed my roots area dark brown several times and had used dark purple from iroiro a couple of times over previous colors. I tried the baking soda method, no change. I had been using dandruff shampoo for a week or so to try and fade the purple but it was barely making a difference. The reason I was trying to remover my colored hair is because I now want to go platinum/silvery (eventually). I ended up using oops and it lightened it somewhat lightened it to a lighter purple (photo attached). Then tonight I used the joico after waiting several days from using Oops because Oops dried it out for a couple of days. The Joico instructions on the package say leave in up to 20 mins, online says up to 30mins but I ONLY left it on for 10 minutes because I am choosing to go slow during my whole process of what I eventually want achieved due to bad experiences in the past with bleaching my hair. this is my 1st time using color remover (Oops and Joico) ever. I am attaching a pic of Joico which is a pic of me right out of the shower so it is still wet. Its a light pink color but I am going to order some more Joico probably next week assuming my hair will continue to feel healthy. washing the Joico out of my hair did a feel a bit stiff but I use blue herbal essence and the shampoo felt great it on it. Then I put the blue herbal essence conditioner on it and let it sit while I showered my body, brushed my teeth, and washed my face. While rinsing everything off I could tell my hair was soft! Just to be date though I am choosing to wait to use Joico again.

I DO recommend this product for dark purple hair

Amazing for every color in the rainbow but red haha. I recommend toning the red out if it stays orange.

This product fried my daughters hair, like to the point it stretches And breaks off . We did exactly what the directions said to do. She still has the colors in her hair she wanted to strip out.  Im devastated.  So it ruined her hair and didnt even take out the color:(
