This brand is by far our favorite brand of gluten free pasta!  We have tried them all.  And Love that the label is clean - not a bunch of corn and fillers. We've made it a few times and others didn't know it was gluten free.  Commented on how much they enjoyed it.  Definitely worth a try!

Excellent Gluten Free Pasta!

Jovial's GF pastas are the best we've tried so far. I'm not sure my husband even notices that I'm serving GF pasta, though the fact that I'm eating it should be a dead giveaway ;D

I like my pasta a touch al dente, and find that the recommended cooking times for Jovial's products are about right for me. Jovial's fusilli offer a satisfying bite—they're not fragile (unless you overcook them), nor do they turn into glue (though I imagine they would if you really, really overcook them). They also reheat considerably better than other GF pastas I've tried.

The one caveat I'd offer is that if you like to meal-prep pasta salads, make smaller batches than you might with standard (non-GF) pasta. The texture can definitely get a bit weird after a bit, so go for 3 days' worth or so at a time. (YMMV, obviously; that's what works for me.)

Likewise, while some brands of GF pasta firm up considerably in the fridge and thus should be slightly overcooked for pasta salad, Jovial's pasta  seems to stay softer, so I recommend trying the suggested cooking time on the package even for pasta salad.

Overall, a very good product. Recommended.

Great GF Pasta

I've battled with food allergies all my life. I use gluten products on occasion, but I try to stick to a gluten free life at home. I also have issues with quineow and other grains so brown rice products I do well with. This pasta just needs to be stirred a few times while boiling and watch the time and drain the water after cooking and then add a bit of olive oil to the cooked pasta and it works great in my various pasta dishes and casseroles. I love it. Yes a bit more money but worth it to put healthy food my body likes and does well with.

Good pasta

PROS
• I honestly couldn't even tell it was rice based instead of wheat!
• Worked super well for my pasta craving while trying to eliminate gluten from my diet

CONS
• A bit expensive compared to other pasta options. It's almost 5x the price of normal pasta 😭
• There's a narrower window of when the pasta is ready and it can be a bit easy to overcook. If you let it sit in the strainer for a little it can dry out a bit which helps.

Expensive but tasty gluten free pasta

Maybe I'm just accustomed to gluten-free pasta, but these don't have a brown rice flavor at all (some pastas do). For me, it was like eating wheat pasta. No chalky taste, just the right amount of chewiness to the texture, and they don't fall apart in recipes. I've used them for chicken noodle soup, macaroni and cheese, and lasagna. I layer them just as I would for a regular wheat pasta lasagna. My daughter was so grateful to get back a delicious meal she's gone without because of allergies. Because let me tell you, not all GF pastas work good as one to one. These do.

Perfect in every way

These are probably the best gluten free noodles I have ever had . They taste good , don't fall apart like others do . I used these to make dishes that no one knew they were gluten free noodles .

Gluten free pasta

Excellent gluten free item. I'm not even gluten free, but try to stay away from white flour.  I just feel the company charges more than they need to because  it's a speciality  item, but I do buy it anyway.

Excellent gluten free pasta !

Our girls are sensitive to rice, but I make it for for them every once in a while. They have a corn allergy so that is a no no. Most rice noodles contain corn so I am glad we have these as an alternative. Easy to cook and they taste delicious.  Even our non gluten free family member enjoy these.

These are my favorite gluten free noodles. Unlike other gluten free noodles, you have to make sure they are cooked enough- if you cook them until “just done” like rice noodles they will be al Dante. But once you get the cook right they are delicious.

I've used this brand for years and it's been great but unfortunately with the recent recipe change, it's made the pasta super gummy and unpalatable. Don't waste your money.
