Stephen King Win!

I got this book on a Friday and had it done on Monday! It was exciting from start to finish and held my attention all the way through. Classic King: with enough excitement, mystery and horror to make it an all-round good book! It was well worth the money.

hard to put down!

This book was well written even though I did find a few errors with it BUT...anyone who reads King knows he takes a while to unwind the story. This book is less than 300 pages in which it takes about 220 of them to finally get somewhere. This book is more about a kid at a summer job (very boring) than anything else and the main character is beyond his years with smarts for his age. Also, both women on the 2 various covers aren't very involved in the storyline so it throws you off thinking the story is more about them. At the end, the mystery and reveal isn't very exciting. It was very predictable which small group of people could have done it. I couldn't wait on this one because of the previous one for Hard Case, "Colorado Kid" since it really had you thinking and was only about 170 pages while a real mystery & cliffhanger. I would say read this if you are a diehard but otherwise you may be disappointed because the mystery part is just at best very minimally involved.
