I initially tried a different similar product, but it required constant cleaning and would back up every few days. This new product is working much better for me. I saw it on Shark Tank, and it effectively catches hair while allowing smaller debris to go down the drain, unlike the previous one. It also looks nice in the sink and helps prevent plumbing issues by trapping hair. Overall, it's an affordable and effective option.

The SinkShroom Bathroom Sink drain/strainer is a great product.  It works very well to catch the hair before it can clog the drain.  There is also a Tub drainer/hair catcher product from the same company.  Both products work great!

Prevention of Clotted Pipes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little thing. It really does catch the sink hair and mine is not very long and it is fine hair. The only downside is that the water makes a glug sound when it goes down, but I'm happy to put up with that. Oh, it does lean a bit, not quite 1/4 inch. I'm not sure why it does that, I am guessing it is the way my sink is made. Overall, I still give this a 5 because it does the job well and that, for me, is the most important thing. This does replace the plunger in the sink, but I do not fill this sink with water anyway, so that is not a concern for me, though it may be for you. If you wanted to fill your sink with water, you would need to pull out this strainer and buy a plug to plug the drain. Also, if you have a plunger stopper in your sink, you need to get under the sink to undo the connection to remove it. It was easy for me to do, it depends on your own ability. The strainer is really easy to remove and clean and put back in. Great price!

This is flimsy plastic that curled up on the bottom and it attracts mold easily. Very cheap .drain buddy is made much better
