This is a great rendition of the D-Rex for this size. While the Super Colossal is probably more in scale with the mainline figures, this smaller one is great for those who don't want a shelf hog.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a solid dinosaur toy from the Jurassic World franchise that moves its jaw in a play chopping motion when the button on its back is pressed. It has good range of movement consistent with others of the line

Mattel Shop

Very nice toys from Jurassic World Dominion one of my favorite son movies he's the new Monster

My grandson loves it. Another distinctive dinosaur to add to his collection.

bought on sale still pricy like everything else

He's so horrific, he's adorable! My Grandson will do backflips! Excellent quality!

Great Gift for a Birthday Christmas!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are many variations of the Jurassic World Distortus Rex action figures made by Mattel. This one is more basic and simpler in design. That is not at all a bad thing. It has the chomping action and initially was fun for our first Distortus Rex. It did break within the first week of playing and I had to use a high grade glue to reattach its tail. Although it is more secure now, the toy lost its appeal when my child noticed it was a bit more fragile. Of course we could have just received a defective one. We ultimately decided to purchase a different version of the Distortus Rex, also by Mattel, that had a few more features to it. After a few weeks of playing with it, once I was able to mend and reattach the tail, we noticed that the joints quickly began wearing down. It will not hold up when it is posed. The joints where the legs and such are give out to the weight of the toy. It gets very frustrating for my child. To add to my original thoughts on reviewing this toy, it's not holding up to average play expectations.

Delicate, Not Holding Up to Play

My kid really wanted the new distortus Rex toy he saw in the Jurassic World app and was very disappointed at what showed up. Small, only chomps and expensive compared to the other distortus toys, I'd skip this one unless it's on a very substantial sale. Definitely not worth $60 in our opinion.

Disappointing

Jurassic World Distortus Rex Dinosaur Action Figure, 16 Inch Villain Dino with Chomping Action Front-facing 3/4 view of the movie-accurate villain dinosaur with textured scales, molded teeth and painted markings; back button activates chomping action. Scan the foot code in the Jurassic World Play App for AR and digital collection. Often used as a display collectible in themed dioramas.
