Although he got a much, much bigger dinosaur too, I think he will play more with this one because it has great details and is a better size for playing.  I like the way it moves, and it really looks authentic.

Rare one, definitely a must have

The dinosaur toy is very realistic and ferocious looking perfect for a fearsome dinosaur loving child. It has a great feature where by it lunges and snaps its mouth when you press the Dinosaurs back button. The first of many super realistic fino toys for our little boy.

I was instantly pleased with the appearance, i could see the toy was clearly good quality just by the effort taken on its design. The initial idea of the toy was very straight forward and easy to attach the cage to the dinos head. I am mostly impressed with the movement of the dinosaurs mouth as you press the button, i felt it was very lifelike opening and closing different amounts as you press the button down. I am also impressed that despite the toys main focus is to break from its head cage using movement in the head, the detail taken to allow the tail, arms and legs to move adds to its realism.

Impressive and simple dino toy !

My kids are really impressed with this toy. They love all the moving parts and the dinosaur is a really decent size. Dinosaur appears to be good quality and durable. it hasn't broken on us yet (and the kids have thrown the dinosaur around a lot.) The boys have enjoyed playing imaginary games with the dinosaur (taking it for walks and feeding it).

Realistic, button that opens mouth (strong enough to crush chips!), stands alone, adjustable body parts! Don't let your dino-loving child grow up without this toy!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bottom Line Up Front: A 9 out of 10 and is a excellent dinosaur that will bring your kids hours of joy while they terrorize their other toys with. 

Build: Very solid build with lots of details.  The paint job on the head and body is excellent, however, it did not extend down into the limbs and tail which could have been improved with some additional color along the spine and claws. The articulation of the limbs and tail is outstanding. Movement is easy enough to move limbs freely but tight enough to stay in the exact place you want it. It allows lots of flexibility to stand on its own without being loose and falling over. Chomping action is easy to use and works well, however, it is quick and hard to find the sweet spot to keep the mouth open when pressing the button. The chomping action also limits the motion of the head. The bottom of the foot also includes a code to use with the Jurassic World Facts app that is educational and really brings the dino to life on the screen.
 
Pros:
- Chomping action keeps kids entertained for hours

Cons:
- Hard to find sweet spot to keep mouth open when using the chomping action
- Details on limbs could have been painted

Overall: We have purchased several Jurassic dinosaurs from Mattel over the years. The quality, details and easy of use never disappoint. This Carcharodontosaurus is no exception. Our kids enjoyed playing with this and really enjoyed the chomping action as the Carcharodontosaurus tore through mega block city. Would make an excellent addition for any kid interested in dinosaurs.

MEGA DINO FUN

I have a 3 and 5 yr old and both absolutely love this Dino. It's huge in their hands, really good quality and well made.
Only draw back is that none of us know how to pronounce the name of the thing. We've just nicknamed it Don for short.
