I purchased this on sale and believe it was definitely worth the sale price. My son has mentioned he wishes it made noise. It does stand up on its own but I get asked multiple times while he's playing with it to stand it back up. He loves that it can “eat” other small toys.

He loves the life-like texture of his skin, his moveable mouth, and the adjustable feet and arms.  He also enjoys being able to “feed” his dinosaur and then easily retrieve his toys from the inside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dinosaur is truly COLOSSAL! I definitely did not realize how truly big it was until it was put together but it's pretty awesome. It was really easy to put together. Just a couple pieces you need to snap in place and you're good to go. The details on the dinosaur are absolutely amazing. It looks like an actual real dinosaur. It's also very solid and it feels like it will last a lifetime. You can also feed the dinosaur the mini dinosaurs which is really cool and they come out of a compartment on the bottom. My son.loves how  the Allosaurus can eat smaller dinos, then take them back out of his compartment  near its tummy!!

Bigger is Better!

We have several others of these and they hold up to 3 boys like a champ. It's also giant! Really cool that it eats smaller Dino's. A must have for your play room.

Great Dino!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This allosaurus is right up there un size, if not aeemingly bigger than the large carnotaurus my son has. My son is 5 and is average sized for his age frouoing and this allosaurus is from tail tip to head, just about the same size. My kiddo absolutely lit up at receipt of it and plays with it daily. Of course, his favorite part of play is that he can feed some of the smaller dinosaur toys he has and cars. And pops open the belly to retrieve them.

Absolutely colossal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It cannot be understated that this toy is very large. It's nearly as large as my son. It has excellent detail on the skin and good articulation on the joints. You can stand it upright without it falling over. The teeth are made of a softer material which is good because my son has been putting his hand into its mouth to fit mini dinos inside. It can "swallow" many mini figures through the mouth and contain them in its stomach, with a hatch on the bottom for easy removal later. It's definitely sturdily built and perfect for any fan who wants to feel like they have something the size of a real baby dinosaur in their house. My son has been thrilled with it!

Another Colossal Winner From the folks at Mattel. Colossal Allosaurus is stunningly beautiful with its grey blue markings and yellow eyes with well sculpted details. A definite don't miss piece to add to your Jurassic Collection.

My son was gifted one of these for his birthday and right out of the box the right leg doesn't even stay on. You touch it and it falls off. He's about to turn 4 and loves playing with it even though it doesn't stand up on its own like it should.
