[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have never made soap before but my crafty art loving daughter was obsessed with this soap making kit! It came with instructions that were really easy to follow. Adults are needed to cut up the soap bars to heat up for the mold but other than that everything else was very easy for her to follow. The soap smelled amazing and you can control how much fragrance to add. We loved the strawberry scent and the little cute bear shapes. Overall a great project for kids to do, highly recommend!

Easy and fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun project for all ages, very easy with step by step instructions. My 4 kids ages 8 through 15 all enjoyed this project. Be sure to follow the directions carefully, especially the heating time. After the first 10 seconds heating it even less each time is better because it will start to overflow quickly. Adult supervision is definitely required because the soap gets very hot, I actually burned myself when it overflowed. It comes with 4 bear molds. It took the full two hours for our soap to fully cool and harden, but they were easy to pop out of the molds with no breaking. We were able to make 6 full bear soap bars and one half bear soap bar. The scent drops are very faint. Soap is made with all natural ingredients.

Fun project for all ages

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun little soap crafting kit for kids! My son and I had a lot of fun creating the Bear Soaps!
It's easy and fun. My son cut the soap block in 3 pieces and then he cut the pieces in small cubes. He used the microwave 1st for 10 seconds and then for 5. The soap needs to be watched, because it can overflow out the measuring cup! After he used the scent drops and created purple with the pink and blue soap dyes. After mixing the concoction, he poured it in the Bear Mold. There was a little leftover soap.
I scratched the leftover soap and used it to make a “Frankenstein” soap = soap with all the leftovers in different colors!

So the negatives: the mold should be 6 bears since there is soap for 6. That way all 6 soaps can be done together. 
Then a plastic cup would be nice, there is a mixing tool but no cup to heat up the soap. 
Also 2-3 other fragrances would be nice and the fragrance is not really intense, I couldn't smell it at all. 
Or the soap could be already scented.

I still give it 5 stars ⭐️ because my son and I had fun and it was an activity we could both enjoy. I really enjoyed doing something with my son.

So Much Fun — A Creative Soap-Making Experience!

The soap puffed up over the top of the glass container I melted it in before it became pourable liquid, no matter how my kids and I tried it. It ended up being a moldable paste more than anything, so I was still able to spread it into the bear molds. The scent and colors are nice, and the bear mold is cute. The box is huge compared to what is actually inside though.

It's okay

Great concept, but a little more complicated than

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seems like a good concept but letting children handle a bunch of dyes and fragrance seems to be a bit odd. Maybe better suited for pre-teen as it too hard to trust a 6 year old.

Wouldn't recommend

Not good product. No scent no lather. Colors are good. Easy to make with adults doing most of it as it gets really hot to touch. Fun activity as kids are really excited but the final product isn't impressive at all
