When I say I am pleased with this product I am glad I tried it. Those who had negative comments I promise you all did it wrong. I section, put oil over hair and even add some oil sheen, I slapped the cream mostly on root of hair and then slapped a little all over. BUT you CaN'T rub or work it in because your hair will get bone straight. I didn't leave it on for a long time once I slapped it all over she went straight to the sink for it to be washed out. When I say her hair is manageable, she still has her beautiful coils everything is good. I recommend this product.

Great working product!

I had such difficulties with my daughter 4c hair. So extremely tightly coiled nothing l did to her hair looked decent to me. It was sooo frustrating! I was hesitant to buy this because l wanted my daughter totally natural, no chemicals...but l was at my wits end. I saw a video or 2 on YouTube regarding this product. Saw a woman having similar issues with her daughter. She gave rave reviews therefore l took the leap of faith. So glad it did, it brought out my daughter's natural curls and made her hair sooo much more manageable! Way easier to comb thru and style. I'm so glad l tried it!

Worked Wonders

My daughter has long thick hair and this works perfectly for her hair type. It loosens her wave thick hair tight to make it more manageable. I don't leave it in more than 10 minutes because I don't want her hair to get straight. The products it comes with the shampoo, the conditioner oil all of them superb ingredients. Perfect for my daughter‘s hair type..

Great if you want to loosen the curl pattern

On April 23, 2023, I decided to purchase the Just For Me Texture Softener System, detangler, 1Kit.  By June 5, 2023, it was time to apply the system to my niece's 12-year-old hair.  Over the past 96 months, AuntieMaBae has dealt with type 4C hair.  Once I had applied this application, my niece's hair was more manageable and enjoyable.  "Just For Me" made my niece accept her hair better because the shrinkage was eliminated.  Although this Texture is similar to a relaxer, thank you for creating a product that smooths and de-frizzes hair while maintaining some natural curls.

Im a licensed stylist and I really love this stuff. ! Do your four sections, problem is ya need to hurry to get the front sections to catch up with the back sections and have it all turn out even.. so Im doing it one more time, this time starting with two front sections first then the back.. leaves my childs mixed hair in beautiful sectioned coils... not all fluffed together frizz... really came out undamaged too and soft... love this stuff!!

Awesome for elongated spiral curls

My daughter has 4c hair like very very thick hair I left the texturizer in for the recommended time and it made my baby hair bone straight, not going to complain because it made it more manageable but yeah be careful! I just recently relaxed her edges and I think I did it correct this time because her hair is actually curly and not straight but it did loosen her curls. Honestly product quality may vary.

Used on my 4 year old 4C hair

I've used this for years but something about seems different about it.  My hair feels a bit heavy and my curl pattern isn't the same. I'm not sure if they have changed the product, though they are hard to find now and they just may be old.  But overall until I find a suitable replacement I'll buy it again.

Feels Different

Great for the texlax movement... However, know what you're doing first! Watch a few YouTube videos. My first try was a fail. I permed my hair actually!!!! Simply because I thought I knew what I was doing! You still have to add a few things before using this.

Hated it!!!Worst product I've ever bought. This did not soften my daughters hair it fried it  made it straight and the texture of her hair is much worse. I only left it on for 5 minutes. I thought this would define her curls and it made them go away. Wish I had never bought it.

I would give it a 0 star but I can't. Awful
