I like the idea of just rinsing a bib rather than adding to my laundry pile. However this did not work for my 6 month old just starting solids. Her food right now is very watery thus it just slides right down. Since she is new to wearing a big, she lifts it up since it is also so light thus food that was collected in the little pocket is dribbling everywhere. Yes it is funny but using an absorbent cloth bib is much better. I think we will eventually use it when she starts having more solid / finger foods but for that runny food, it is not helpful.
Oh and rinse it right away. It sort of absorbs odors even after washing!

I have bought many different styles and brands of bibs. Nothing was quite right until this bib. Either my daughter would yank the bib off, it didn't lay flat so food would get behind the bib, or just not enough coverage. These have an adjustable neck opening. They rinse easily, but can also be washed in the washing machine. They have a catch pocket that actually lays properly when it is on my daughter so that it really does catch stuff. They are also cut so that my daughter can move her arms without the bib getting twisted and out of place. These actually manage to stop all food from getting on my daughter and her clothing. A miracle! And on top of all that, they have a cute pattern. I bought a set of the Dr. Suess bibs and I am about to purchase another set with a different pattern. My quest for the perfect bib is over! Yay!

Perfect bib!!

The slippery fabric makes these easy to clean, but food also just rolls down and off, and unfortunately onto my daughter or her high chair. The pocket doesn't stick out on its own so several times food just rolled over the lip and kept going until it fell. We use the hard plastic baby bjorn usually but bought these for travel. They fold up very small so are great for on the go, but not useful enough for every day wear

Slippery

These bibs are great for my super messy new eater.  My six month old daughter is a wild eater and cereal gets everywhere, but these bibs have great coverage around the neck, chest and shoulder areas and keeps the food from getting on the straps to the highchair.  These bibs are super easy to just rinse off, wring out and dry in the dish drain and then use again without having to wash them in the washing machine after each use.  They dry very quickly, too.

These bibs are great for my super messy new eater

I used to use terry cloth bibs with my first daughter and now with my second I knew there had to be something better out there so that I wasn't constantly throwing bibs into the wash.  These are the best.  I use the everyday and I literally wash them off in the sink every-night with a little dish soap and warm water, squeeze out the excess water then hang or lay them to try on the counter or her high chair , and they are ready to go again the next day for her meals.  My daughter is 6 months old and they are plenty big so that she can keep using them for much longer....

my favorite bibs

It was really fabulous for a few months. We used the three, washed and hung them to dry on a daily basis and wash them in laundry maybe once every 2 weeks. However, mold started to grow on the edges and we have thrown 2 of them away. I'm going to throw the third away as soon as we can find something else.
Pros:
They lay flat around the neck and so when he was 5 months old and interested in chewing the larger silicone and floppy bibs, he left these ones alone
They wash and dry quickly, and do catch a lot of stuff that falls into his lap
Cons:
The Mold
The velcro started to wear off and he now pulls it apart easily

Good for a few months of use.

Love these bibs! Waterproof, don't stain, clean and dry easily! I only give it 4-stars because my 17 month old found out how to rip them off and now I have to use a binder clip over the Velcro to keep them on! A snap would be better than Velcro. So now I'm planning to buy the same brand, but the ones with sleeves and tie back! Hope they serve us well! You won't regret buying these bibs! I still love them even though my little monster needs the other style at this stage!

Great bib!

Love these, super cute and great for a 6m old. Not sure about catching food since i old give him liquid baby food but it is SUPER easy to wipe down. I have washed it in the washer machine and dried it with all they other baby clothes and looks great!

Great!

We've tried so many different brands and these are the only brand of waterproof bibs that are also machine-washable. All other brands had their designs peel adn wear away after the first wash, but these are still intact after many washes. They do get a little wrinkly if you put them in the dryer, so I hang dry them.

Bumkins are the BEST bibs ever!!!! They are soft, light weight, durable, dry faster than you'd believe, fold up super tiny to tuck away in a bag, the are colorful, cute designs, perfect size, the velcro stays, i throw them in the washer and they're fine...they are the best!
other bibs i've bought at various baby stores - they're hard plastic, take forever to dry, smell bad...honestly some look pretty cute but they're just not functional enough for me.

BEST bibs ever!!!!!

These bibs have vivid colors, cute patterns and a large size. I was very happy with them at first. However, after only a few months of use the water resistant backing is peeling off of the bibs. I am so disappointed. I have washed, dried and stored them exactly as directed; the fact that they are literally falling apart shows that they are of poor quality. These were my go-to bibs and I am frustrated that I will most likely have to throw them away. Not only are they no longer protecting my child's clothing, the water resistant backing peels off and sticks to his clothes and to any other laundry when I wash them. It's gross. It's a shame because I have a Bumkins SuperBib that a friend gave me as a hand me down. It is several years old and does not exhibit any hint of this problem.
