It has alot of small parts 456 to be exact. I love this toy because promotes patience, teamwork and critical thinking. I love that it has step by step instructions that are easy for a child to understand if they are working on this project alone. It will keep a child busy for a few hours and at the end they feel great because they were able to put it together themselves. My 11 yr old nephew actually loved the K'NEX Mega Motorcycle Building Set - 456 parts - Working Suspension, Authentic Replica Model we worked it together for a few hrs. Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is perfect for your little motorcycle lover! It was easy to put together with the color-coded instructions that were included. The pieces snap together very easily and are the perfect sizes for the little hands of my 10 year old. The end product is a really cool looking motorcycle which is larger than I thought it would be - that was a bonus.. While this might seem like a fun gift for a boy, our little girl loves it so much as well. This is the first motorcycle building set I have seen and it has been a big hit at my house!

Basic Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the K'NEX Mega Motorcycle Building Set - 456 parts - Working Suspension, Authentic Replica Model and my son couldn't wait to get his hands on it, I was lucky I got a picture. Him and his friend down the street have been working on it for days now a little at a time. My son has always loved K'nex but I think they had been getting a little to easy for him but this one is pretty intricate and has a lot of details. This one has been quite a challenge for him which is great. The colors are his favorite and he can't wait to display it on a shelf in his room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this motorcycle building set for my son (who likes to call himself a “motorcycle aficionado - even though he is only 9 years old, lol!) and the second he saw it he couldn't contain his excitement! He took the box and started his “best project ever” right away.  He was so happy while building it and over the moon after he finished. It is a fantastic way to stimulate children creativity, and It is easy to put together and every single part is made of great quality materials. My son liked it so much that He is already making plans for his next building project.

Nice Model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mega blocks we got for our son but he was too small at the time so we had put it together for him it was actually fun to put it together the blocks was surprisingly easy to put together and stayed we had gave it to him and is having a blast to play with it now he has build so many things that I would not have thought about I actually was building with him it is catching and I recommend it to any with a son or daughter that loves to unleash there mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] K'nex Motorcycle comes in 456 little pieces. Some pieces are very small, pieces come in a plastic bag, but be careful not to loose them as some pieces are very small. Some pieces are very realistic looking. The exhaust, handle bars, seat and front nose piece are all realistic motorcycle looking pieces. 
The age for this motorcycle is marked as ages 9 and up. I would say this should be 12 and up, unless you have a parent to help you. My son is 12 and this took him several hours to complete and he had to take it apart and start over again a few times when it did not go together the right way the first time. The instructions are color coded which does make it easier to put the pieces together. Sometimes though it is hard to tell exactly how or where the pieces are supposed to attach. 
The suspension on this is a neat feature.
My son was disappointed with the kickstand. He was hoping the motorcycle would stand with the kickstand, but it was not enough to support the whole motorcycle.

Project for someone with lots of patience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was somewhat fun for my niece and I to put this motorcycle together. It took us about 5 hours, we did it in two parts, in two days. There are lots and lots of smalls parts to this mega motorcycle. It comes with instructions but I wouldn't say good ones. 

We followed the instructions to a tee but it wasn't always easy to understand because there are a lot of parts to this bike and the company didn't name the parts. They show want parts you need for each step but doesn't tell you size, so they show rods but doesn't say what size rods so we more than once used the wrong length rod and then had to undo and redo it

Most of the parts slips into each other but some needed to be snapped together and those were hard. My fingers hurt after putting some areas together. We were able to put they bike together but we were missing a couple of parts at the end and had a few left over. We did not lose any and we did follow the instructions correctly so....I don't know.

The finished product is nice and a good size. It has suspension indeed, the bike doesn't stand by itself when its connected. If you want the bike to stand by itself you need to remove that part.

If you are up for a challenge then go for this, otherwise pass.
