I wanted this for an old Chevy truck. I did not want to drill the doors to mount mirrors, so these clamp-on mirrors were a great alternative..

Worked Well For My Application

The second time I drove the car with the mirror on it the glass? feel out of the steal frame.  
I think it was glass but I'm not sure since it is gone! The frame is in great condition but useless without the mirror in it.

Glass fell out.
