We especially love this product. I bought another in advance  of our 2nd bathroom Reno. It is strong, looks absolutely beautiful and timeless. Don't know why all tp fixtures don't have this feature. Hard to believe I hadn't seen this elsewhere. I hope Kohler keeps it well stocked and doesn't go any higher in price for any future needs as I would want to buy this again.

I'm surprised so many here seem to have a problem with theirs. I installed this about 18 months ago (it was a little tricky getting it perfectly lined up, but I guess my effort has paid off). It works perfectly and is an elegant part of our powder room. It's the easiest roll to replace in the house, I was just here shopping for another one I like this one so much.

I Love This Design

Although I originally did not like this tissue holder, once I figured out how to properly install it, I love it.  It works as designed and looks wonderful and is of very high quality.  The installation instructions, I felt, were poorly written, and probably responsible for most of the poor reviews, however once I discovered my errors and properly installed it, everything works great.

I have to constantly tighten the small hex bolts on the underside of the holder every couple of weeks. The bolt just do not get very tight or stay very right. I also have the same problem in my purist shower valve trim. The same small undermount hex bolt to keep the button in falls off so much. Then I have to remove the whole housing and recaulk— It just won't stay tight. I spent a lot of money on these products but they fail at simple tasks. Super bummed.

Look great, functions terribly

This product is absolutely terrible. I agree with everyone here in that there is a really bad design flaw. Every time I take the toilet paper it, it unlatches and the toilet paper falls to the floor. I thought we installed it wrong or something or the one that I got was defective, so I came to the website to order another one at the same insanely expensive price. Well when I arrive at the product page I see the low rating and that everybody has the same issue. How do they market and charge such exorbitant prices for something with such a terrible and unquestionable design flaw? They should take it off the market! And now I'm screwed because I drilled it into the tile so I can't install another toilet paper holder because the current drill holes will be exposed. I'm absolutely furious, disappointed, and sad. How embarrassing if guests come to use it and experience this

I bought this TP holder to match the rest of my Purist fixtures.  It was installed professionally but doesn't stay closed well enough to function.  I have tightened the set screws many times, but the bar pivots off its base with only slight tugging,  I now keep it closed with blue painter's tape!

Looks nice, but doesn't work well.

I bought this product when we re-finished our entire bathroom and also bought the matching faucet, shower head and towel bar.  The pivoting arm of the toilet paper holder broke off completely and does not function at all.  We need to find a replacement, but want to match with the rest of the bathroom.

The holder itself does not stay connected, so when you want to get toilet paper, you must hold it with both hands or the thing just falls off of its "hinge."  Terrible design.  I wanted to love this, but it is a huge waste of money
