These towels are lovely with their brilliant colors and fun designs. Each person gets their individual choice when heading to the pool. But they are thin and will so not very absorbent when you are looking for warmth from a chilly dip. The color is holding up, but there are already a few loose threads after only a couple of washings. As a quick, economic purchase they are helpful if you are expecting guests.

They are NOT oversized in my opinion and certainly not for beach towels. I bought them for use with large puppies but they are pretty thin and if used at the beach, sand would probably work its way up through the pourous material. I don't view them as super absorbent and doubt one could dry one puppy (about 25 lb puppies now). I do fold them and use them for padding over other pads in their Kennel. They are rather stringy and prone to snags but make a quick clean surface over a foam pad and are easy to wash without taking up much washer/dryer space.  After several washings, they have held up with many snags (mostly puppies) and the lint finally has stopped getting on everything. They are colorful. If they lost color when first washed I didnt notice because they were washed with other cloth puppy pads and beds. I purchased at about $5 per towel and consider it worth the value for my puppies. I would not use at the beach, however.

The price for the 4 towels was great, the quality not so much! I washed them when  they arrived, right away I noticed they frayed,  tried to use one after my shower and there was so much lint that came off the towel on to me. 4 washings later and still lint coming off and on to me when I try to dry off with the towel. would not recommend  them, a waste of money.

Okay… so this is my fault bc of the price it was basically 4/$20… needed pool towels for my kids who are fish and we can never have enough. Due to the cheap price and cheap quality….TOWELS SHED BAD… but good news is they shed for only about the first 3-4 washes… after that no issues, if you can handle the shedding at first, they turn out to be decent towels.

the print is nice they dry quickly but they leave colored lint all over you when you dry off. i washed and dried the towels teice before using and still fuzz

I just opened the box, so I don't know about using or washing them, but I was extremely surprised that they are so thin that you can see light through them.  Also, the description and photo shows the 4-pack is of varied design.  Instead it is four of all the same design, one design.  I didn't look at the reviews before purchasing and this is the second time I bought towels for a very cheap price, so I've learned my lesson.

A $5 Beach Towel Is Not Going To Be Acceptable

i literally love scratchy towels and theyre so hard to find these days. So, when i saw a review saying they were scratchy, i bought them right away. I wish i hadn't. I've never owned towel that generates so much lint. I'm talking lint trap after lint trap full of lint from these towels. I should have contacted Walmart for a refund, instead, i threw them away. DON'T BUY!

LINTY TOWELS

I mean the towels have beautiful designs but I am bummed out about how transparent they are. I will take a picture of the towel i got at Wal-Mart in 2019, compared to the 2026 towels. There is one string knitted into a thin towel. I am honestly scared to wash. One pulley and these towels are rags. I spent more $ hoping to get better quality but nah.
In picture 1, the towel on the left is old scool quality,  the right is 2026 beach towel. Pictures 2 and 3, I covered the tv so you can see how transparent they are. 
These companies keep making their products like garbage,  using cheaper materials.  They seriously treat us like we are not intelligent enough to notice the quality issues.  
But like I said,  the design is gorgeous....They are best for decorating for the reason of poor quality,  transparent towels.  If your looking for something thin and breezy, they are so nice and i hate to have to say anything bad about them because they are so cute, but I had to do a review.

Beautiful design- transparent towels

These beach towels are absolutely awful! They practically fell apart in the wash...there were pulled strings on all of them. Don't waste your money on these, unless you plan to use them as rags. Not even sure they would be good as rags. They are as thin as could be. Terrible purchase!

The quality is so bad. They came already freyed, the fibers started separating immediately, and they dont absorb well. I was weary of the price, and sholud have listened to my gut. Regret purchase!

Thinner than expected, but not bad. Size is correct but actually needed larger type beach towels. One of the 4 the edge unravelled after washing and drying for the first time.  Better use for a child than an adult.  Price was low so I got what I paid for.
