This is my first breadmaker.  Compared to making bread by hand it's a no brainer to buy this and easily have great, fresh, hot bread.  The accompanied manual and recipe book facilitate making a great loaf by just following the instructions. I'm glad to own this product.

Very easy to use. No noise. I used it for 2 lb bread and a cake . I would recommend this bread maker, KBS- MBF-013. I am very happy with the purchase, overall the machine is a great choice if you want versatility and reliable results for bread and cake.

Great features- even better bread and cake

First time bread machine owner worked better than expected inexpensive compared to some of the machines out there that's why we went with this one , I do recommend removing the paddle before the baking stage so you don't have a hole in the middle

I absolutely love this machine.  It looks great.  Cleanup is a breeze and makes great bread.  I follow the recipe for milk bread and it came out perfect.  All the mixing, rising and baking is done in the machine.  I don't need to wash any other dishes.  It also shuts off automatically so you can just set it and leave it.

Wonderful bread machine

Very easy to use.  Love the recipes that came with it.  The bread loaf doesn't look the same as when I make homemade bread using the loaf pan in the oven, but for the ease and convenience of this breadmaker, it is worth the trade off. The taste and consistency is still the same.

It makes wonderful yogurt.  This was a bonus feature I didn't realize it had when I purchased.  The kids love the yogurt and is so easy to make for them.

Wow, this machine is really nice. Their recipes use powdered milk and that makes the bread nice and moist with a really good flavor. I am using bread flour and Red Star yeast. Right off the jump, I really like how the bread pan locks into the base. The bread pan has a ceramic coating and it is nice and slippery. Just following the instructions will yield very good bread.

Awesome Bread Making Machine!!

First, if we are talking about the quality of the bread produced, I would give this unit 5 stars.  It does a great job.  My quibbles are with the instructions and recipes, as well as some aspects of the interface.

I felt that I had to dig to find out things.  This unit has a fruit and nut dispenser, but what is the maximum amount that I can put into it? If I have a large quantity of an add-in, is there an add-in beep so I can add the "extras" and not use the dispenser?  I had to refer to the timing tables in the manual, as this wasn't clearly stated elsewhere. Yes, it does have a beep. By the way, I'm happy KBS lists timing tables, as other machines don't.  Yes, I have more than one bread maker-don't judge.

The display has a heading for "fruit," but what does this do?  Do I have to activate this setting, and if so, how do I activate it?  Does it control the dispenser or the beep?  Does it alter the program in some way?  Who knows, as it isn't explained, and no button activates it.

The recipe book is limited and very confusing.  The gluten-free recipes utilize the basic bread cycle, rather than the gluten-free cycle.  Sometimes you are given two menu options. The Three-Grain bread advises Menu 5/Menu 8; which one should I use?  The sweet babka with chocolate swirl recipe suggests Menu 1 and Menu 7.  However, this is a filled bread, and it gives no instructions on how to process the dough, as clearly this dough needs to be pulled out, filled, and then the bake function needs to be used, but that is never mentioned. The same can be said of the cinnamon swirl bread.  The photo shows a bread that has been baked in a regular pan, not with "menu 2." The photo of the Swedish rye bread clearly shows a free-form bread that you would bake in the oven, not in a bread maker, but it advises menu 5.   I would not use the recipe book and go with recipes from other sources.

Last quibble.  Let's say you set your loaf size to 2 pounds and your crust to dark.  Now, you set your menu button to the program you want (basic, whole wheat, etc.).  When you do this, the machine will automatically revert to a 1.5-pound loaf and medium crust.  This could mess up your bread if you don't catch it. 

With the above quibbles acknowledged, the machine still did a great job.  If you avoid using the recipe book (you can find many recipes on the internet) and understand the interface issues, it is simple to operate (although I still don't know what "fruit" means on the display).  It makes a wonderful loaf of bread, and I'm pleased to have this machine, which I think is a good value.

Good value, makes great bread

Strawberry jam is the only thing I have made so far.   It turned out good. I should have added just a touch more pectin. Will fix that next time. I believe I  will enjoy this machine.

  I am curious, watching an unboxing on youtube, it shows that it comes with an extra paddle. I did not receive an extra paddle??

My trial run

While the machine does produce a good loaf of bread, there is a problem with the gasket at the base of the bread pan. It leaks. I contacted the seller and they offered a lame explanation," it is a floury substance." They did not offer to send a replacement. As you can see by the photos the leak causes a baked on  buildup of contents. I have to use a flat blade screwdriver to remove the charred mess and the underside of the bread pan needs to be soaked in dishwater to clean the "floury substance". This is time consuming. If you're looking for a bread machine look elsewhere.

Needs Improvement

After using this machine at least 15 times I can't get one singe recipe from the book or any other to turn out decent. 
They are all hard bricks, look %26 feel like craters,    %26 are just terrible. 

I can bake it in the oven perfect everyone but this “fool proof” machine made to make things easier has been everything EXCEPT Easy! 
Maybe it's defective but whatever it is, Im VERY UNSATISFIED with this Bread Machine.

Think twice, not so easy to use.
