These were great right out of the box for our kid! I love that little fingers can get these on by themself. They have been great for hikes, camping, city wear, and in and out of the river. The last non-Keen pair of sandals gave our kid terrible blisters any time they were used for wading, not these! They go straight from the river to hiking with no rubbing. We bought them a little big to hopefully get us through the next growth spurt. Even a little big, they synch down great and are super comfy.

Play/Hike/Wade

It is true to the shape of the foot (straight line for the big toe and almos square shape instead of becoming narrow and pointy). It is a little smaller when I compare to same size but it may be because the shoe I compare it with was narrow at the end. So far, after one month of use it is still looking in a very good shape

A good everyday shoe

These are probably the 5th pair of keens we purchased for our kids. I love them! They hold up great. Wash well. Fit fabulously. And cover toes. My kids love them too. Comfortable. They can get them wet and they dry shortly after. I will buy keens again and again!

Love these shoes!

My two sons (4 & 6) have been wearing versions of this shoe ever since they could walk. I love them. They are durable and washable (added bonus). They are perfect for running around outside during the summer, keeping their feet cool yet protecting them from all their adventures.

Love this sandal for kids!

I purchased these for my niece hoping I could convince her to wear these to our week long lake vacation; instead of the cowboy boots I bought her for Christmas that she hasn't taken off. It worked! She loves these and has been wearing them every since they arrived. They fit perfect. She has done everything from swimming, running, shopping, boating, and all kinds of other things and she just loves them. We also get compliments on how comfortable and safe they look. She still feels like she is wearing a sandal but is more protected. Highly recommend these for kids.

Cute and functional!

I bought these in a size 12 for my 4 year old. He had a different color last year. I believe these are the best sandals on the market. The never break down and last and last. Best protection too. Love all the color choices although most were out of stock when we ordered.

Built to last

These are great for my toddler! She's extremely rough on her shoes at school and we recently went through a different pair of sneakers in three weeks. The toe on this Seacamp has stayed strong even when dragged across the asphalt, which is usually how she ruins other kinds. I also like the enclosure on this model- its harder for her to mess with and pull off all the time. I would buy again!

Great toddler sandal for school

I have been searching for a great pair of shoes for my toddlers that wouldn't break the bank. Everything I had found previously was poor quality or my kids complained of discomfort. After receiving these my kids haven't taken them off. They are durable enough to ride bikes but lightweight enough for everyday use and water play. Perfect summer shoe! Thank you KEEN!

My child has a high instep and so many shoes don't fit well. Because these sandals have an adjustable velcro top they leave enough room for high instep feet to have the extra space they need. They are also very easy for kids to take on and off on their own.

Works well for high instep

Grandkid says these are comfortable, loves to wear them outdoors. Seem very sturdy and well made. BUT the opening for the sandal is not designed so that he can get his feet in them himself. Once on, the wide toe box is perfect for his toes, but the opening is too narrow to easily slide his wide foot in. Will look for other brands in the future for easier-to-put-on sandals.

So close to perfect

I was really excited to get my 5 year old a pair of Keens. Unfortunately upon arrival they absolutely wreaked of some extremely strong chemical odor. Left them on the porch to off gas and after two weeks it still gives me a headache when I get within 2 feet of them. Not a regular headache, a tingling sensation throughout my whole head - clearly not something that should be inhaled and yet they were meant for my 5 year old. Keen told me it was a harmless primer and suggested I use Febreeze… to cover the smell, I suppose since that's what that product does. Nothing could cover this odor. I actually washed them in the washing machine and they still wreak of chemical odor. Made my washing machine smell of it as well. Really concerned what chemical could leave such a strong odor and when we get too near and get a whiff feel an awful sensation in my head. It's so concerning that Keen isn't concerned why this pair smells so horrifically. I may get them tested by lab.
