Extremely comfortable. Great for cool crisp Fall days. Use mine for yard work, errands, and light hiking 

I ordered my shoes on line. My measurements turned out to be slightly bigger, maybe a half size, than I needed. Next time plan to buy in store where I can try them on first.

They look cool; they seem rugged. I don't know though. I like Keens. I got them to replace a previous pair, different model. They are certainly smaller, significantly. They still fit, kinda, but only with thin socks which sucks in northern Illinois when the wind decides to gust and make itself known on mesh topped shoes. I got these thinking they would be a good fit for year round wear but I don't know if I'll wear them. They're not particularity comfortable. I don't get it because my last pair were fantastic. These feel cheaper; not cheap but definitely not the quality of my previous Keens. I've got them next to the box in which they arrived. They're probably being returned or donated. They look rugged. If that's what you're after for yourself our as a gift then these will be fine.

I Just Don't Know

The shoes run a little large. In my opinion this is great because you can finally put two pairs of socks on. A little stiff at first wearing, a day of wearing is making a big difference. Good traction on the sole. The sole is hard, so be careful on vinyl floors until you scuff them in. I like the fact that the shoes come with a decent insole instead of the foam junk that the other brand has. I like the big toe box and am looking forward to seeing more miles in these shoes.

Better than expected

I measured my foot exactly how instructed, however, the shoe was significantly too big. (Long). Secondly, the sole of the shoe has a “plastic” feel to it, kind of hard and slippery. Lastly, the overall quality was not there, just felt like a cheap shoe.

A couple issues

I haven't had these for long, but they have proven their worth. Wore them on the 18+ mile Presidential Traverse, completed in a single day. No blisters! I did feel some hot spots coming on at one point, and I tightened the shoes down as much as I could so they would not slide so much - I think their design makes a snug fit difficult, even with a good wool hiking sock. Call it a volume issue? A design that was easier to tighten or just fit more snugly to prevent feet from sliding around would have earned the 5th star.

In general, these are lightweight, seem to be durable, have good grip, and are super breathable. My feet didn't even stink (much) after having these on for 21 hours straight including 16.5 hours of strenuous hiking. Socks were hardly damp. I would buy these again.

Not bad, but not quite perfect

I have been a fan of Keen footwear for a long time. In my opinion they are the most comfortable shoe made. I'm on my feet most of my work day which is 4 to 6 hours on 2 to 3 days a week. My feet are my main asset and without a good pair of shoes I can't do my job to the best of my ability. I am 67 years of age and still very active. If there is any con to my purchase its that my shoes don't always match my outfit !

Steens vent shoe

I always love the Keen shoes and sandals. They are all I buy because the insole support fits my feet perfectly. I was disappointed that the grey color in the picture is much lighter than the actual shoes. I have been looking for a nice Keen show in light grey. If there is such, they are sold out. But I still love my Keen Shoes/Sandals. If you need great support, Keen is your answer.

In the beginning stages. I thought they were too small but after a couple wears the adjust to my feet. Strings are perfect. They stay tied all day. Sole rubber overlapping the toe is perfect for my heavy duty work routes. As for now they are holding up well. Better than expected.

Great shoe.

I really enjoy the roomy toe box...no need to order a wide size with Keen shoes. The Steens Vent is a firm shoe but very comfortable with good arch support. My heel does not slip out which is an issue with other Keen models. So far, it breathes well in warm weather which is exactly what I was looking for. I like these so much. I ordered the waterproof Steens for cooler wetter weather.

Solid sturdy shoe

Took some long walks in the city after getting those shoes, they are very comfortable, almost no break in period, I was going to buy the waterproof ones but ended up choosing those cuz I have sweaty feet and I am using those for the summer, they breathe very well.

Very nice, light weight

These shoes were defective upon receipt - leather on right side of right shoe was cut. Defect was noticed when rubbing Snow Seal into leather. Keen HAS BEEN COMPLETELY UNRESPONSIVE TO MY NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS (WHICH WERE NEVER ANSWERED!), E MAILS AND CHAT REQUESTS FOR A RETURN AUTHORIZATION AND A NEW, UN-DEFECTIVE PAIR OF THESE SHOES.
