I haven't needed steel toe boots in a quite a while. A new job changed that. Coworkers suggested Keen, a brand I never tried before. I'm on my feet much of the day/week and drive a variety of vehicles. Four months later and they are holding up well and comfortable! Had one shoelace frayed and came apart, beginning to cut into a lace loop. Replaced them with a set from an outdoors store. So far, it's the only issue. I sized up to a 13 after trying on a 12 and am glad I did. Definitely looking forward to my next pair of Keens!

So far so good!

I'm a commercial roofer. It's taken 30 years and piles of worn out boots to find these. The first thing to go on boat are the toes. I spent all day ony knees dragging my toes. Either the sole separate or holes get worn thru at the tips. These boots have a over the toe molded sole. It's like they were purposely designed for what I do. Plus, there's a "rocker" in the sole that actually helps me walk better. I usually kinda walk flat-footed, dragging my feet. Now I find myself picking up my feet. Having a more energetic stride. Keen is an awesome company that standa behind their products. I'll never buy any other boots.

Toes know

They boots runs small but otherwise this is a good pair of boots.

Size matters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a very well made boot. Runs small. Other Keen boots are true to size. Very still boot that takes a few weeks to break in. Highly recommend purchasing in a store instead of online so you get a good fit.

Small

They were fine for a few months but that was all. I'm on my feet 10 + hours a day on concrete. The soles are good but the boot is broke down inside. The most unpleasant boot at this point, need to find something else. Just a waste of money.

Uncomfortable, not for all day wear.

I bought the soft toe in a 10 EE because of my past experiences with Keen. I'm actually a 9. 5 EE. My toes jammed into the front. I could tell the boots wanted to be comfortable, though. This company's sizing problems are ridiculous. A 10. 5 EE will probably be too big and a 10 D will probably be too narrow. I think I give up.

Try them on in a store if you can first

Do not last. Have owned a pair for almost 1.5 years now. The fabric lace loops tear off and the shoe laces began to fray within the first six months. Replaced with a set of rhino laces which are tough. 

The sole and toe are solid and tough. The fabric material around the ankle of the boot still looks almost new. The fabric lace loops are the weak point for this boot. Aside from that and the crappy laces it is a get boot.

The heel on this boot does not last long but overall the boot is very comfortable but I will be looking for a different brand been buy this boot for awhile but do not think the sole holds up
