I have a pair of Keens that were quite worn- rubber flapping around, paint splatters….anyway they are the only shoes that didn't hurt my feet. I ordered the Ridge Flexes and find them to be perfect! Roomy in the toe box and a good supportive insole. I can put my old Keens away for gardening now!

Got the footbed I needed

These shoes are great. I recently had extensive foot surgery and my doctor recommended Keen shoes. However, I was already a Keen customer. I still cannot wear sandals or go barefoot. I have to be very careful with my foot. These shoes are so supportive yet extremely comfortable. If you have to be on your feet a lot — these are perfect.

Women's Ridge Flex Waterproof

I amgiving 5 stars beacause I believe they deserve it. They are a wonderful shoe but just did not work for me.I had a problem with the way it was sewn on the inside of my right shoe.The other show was perfect. Wish these would of worked for me because I loved them

Super comfortable in the width - lots of extra toe wiggle space (which I have no issue with as it's better than having toes squeezed). I bought an 8 (usual Keen size) and they fit, but perhaps just a hair large with thicker socks (again, prefer this to too tight - and my heel didn't slip, so I was okay with it). BUT, had to send them back after trying on because the top of the shoe where it hit the front of my ankle was super painful, but just on one foot. I'm not sure if I got a bad pair, or if it's my ankles, but I'm going to try the boot instead to see if that makes them wearable for me because they are super comfortable and I'd love to be able to keep them.

I have had many pairs of Keens but their recent offerings have been poor. I don't like the bellows at all. They have redesigned the way the tongue attaches to the shoe, and there is now a prominent seam which is Very Uncomfortable. I would not recommend them to anyone now. Which is a real shame as they used to be comfortable out of the box.

Keen have lost their way

Addition to 4-7-2022 review: My Ridgeline is high on the side in back around the ankle area. It touches the bottom of the ankle bone and is uncomfortable or just plain hurts. Not so with other Keens. I can use with heel pads to raise the bottoms of my heels so the sides of the shoes don't touch.

Addition to previous review - high in back

Unfortunately the bottom of shoe separated under toe and heel area. I use these for factory work 5-7 days a week. I still wear my last pair that have a different bottom and have held up great. The separation is where the toe cap was glued to bottom and at heel area.
Might be good on trail, not for what I do.

Doesn't hold up unfortunately

These shoes definitely run small, easily 1 - 1 1/2 sizes smaller than stated, my toes were crammed in the front. Materials felt very cheap and these seemed nothing like the quality of Keens from years ago. As they were so small, I did not get to wear them enough to comment on comfort/durability. But overall everything about them was disappointing.

Poorly made

I bought these to replace my KEEN Women's Siskiyou II Mid Waterproof Boots (that turned out not to be waterproof, started falling apart after 6 months, and fit poorly). Those were my first KEEN purchase, and though disappointed, I wanted to give the company another chance. I wear a size 8 consistently across brands, but the Ridge Flex size 8s were way too wide around the ankle and a bit too loose in the heel. No matter how tightly I tied them my feet kept moving around in the shoes. Unfortunately I had to return them and will have to find another brand.

Too big and too wide

My shoes took quite a long time to arrive and when they did, one shoe was faulty in that the material inside the toe area had a fold in it making it really uncomfortable. The return form had no option for a replacement and when I sent them back no one contacted me to see if I wanted an exchange. In the end I decided to order from another company.
