I had just enjoyed dinner at a restaurant and their tables were covered with this same durable, clear acrylic material. Amazingly Walmart offered the same covers for a fair price and in many sizes.

We also like nice furniture. I know "lots of cats" and "nice furniture" are contradictory to each other, but I can't help it. We have an aesthetic that predates all the cats, and this is a hill I choose to die on.

So, I purchased this cover for our dining table. And I am glad I did. It took all of one day for a scratch to appear on it. The cover took one for the team. The Table Team. But it's in good spirits and proudly wears the scar like a badge of honor. Considering the cat that scratched it, that's a fair level of pride to carry. Anyway, if you need a plan for Defense Against the Dark Cats, this is a good item to have around. 10/10.

Simple to unroll %26 it flattened out quickly. Provides good protection. Wipes up nicely! Looks beautiful %26 keeps the beautiful tablecloth clean %26 protected. Hoping it holds up outdoors under the umbrellas with some direct sunshine. (Could possibly yellow in full, prolonged sun exposure.) We'll see. In any case, this will make the tablecloth last longer.
