[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was a kitchen island.   It is NOT.  It is meant to be up against a wall.  The frint is real nice but the back is just ugly.  No I will have to go out and buy something to cover up the black cardboard.

Today, while my son had the weight of a plate and his arms on it while eating breakfast, the entire extension ripped out of the unit and fell off. The whole point of that extension is to act as a sitting area for barstools. Needless to say it's deconstructed and in the box to be returned.
