The Kodak PixPro camera is a pretty decent camera - especially for beginners and amateurs. I had a point and shoot Olympus camera as my first camera and it has done the job I needed for many, many years. I had the opportunity to get this camera, and I hopped on the valued pricing. This camera is top of the line of this brand, and it certainly has a lot of bells and whistles to learn. It has features like Auto, Manual, Portrait, and more - and also has a great zoom, WIFI connection, 24mm wide angle lens, and you can also use any brand 52mm filters to enhance your photography. In the box, you get the camera, the camera lens cap, a LI-ion rechargeable battery,  USB cord, quick start guide and warranty card. Not bad for the price!

Here's my pros and cons!

Pros: It has some nifty features that you may not find on other cameras, like a great video camera, panorama feature, filters, wide angle lens, and a great zoom. Other features such as  shooting modes like P,S,A,M - detection features, scene modes, photo touch up, HDR and more - all within your reach. There are endless possibilities to take the best shot you can get. The camera is a beautiful shade of dark blue, and has a nice display screen on the back to see everything you need. I like that it has the WIFI-connection to easily go from my camera to my computer and phone - and that program is super easy to operate. 

Cons:
I'm used to my old point and shoot's zooming feature - that when I zoomed in as far as I could go, it went above and beyond. For example: I took photos of the moon with the Olympus and it zoomed right up to it. This Kodak gets fairly close, but I haven't gotten it to really zoom in well. Not sure exactly why - but it's kind of a let down for me. Second - there's only a quick guide to get you started on working your camera. It wasn't enough for me - so I had to physically search on the internet for the actual online BOOK of directions for this camera. The online book tells you much in detail, which is more than I can say for a little quick guide.  And lastly - many people have complained about this little tiny mishap - this camera does not come with a micro SD card, which most people complained that it should have, and they had to buy one. In my case, it was a touch of a let down, but not a disaster as I have several micro SD cards at my disposal. And I also have extra LI-ion batteries (rechargeable) as well. 

Overall, its a fairly decent camera - I'm still learning all the different ways. When I feel that I have fully learned everything there is about this camera, I shall come back and update! For this price, it's well worth getting. Is it a Canon or a Nikon? Certainly not. But it's great to start with. 

In my photo of the camera - I have bought a separate shoulder strap to carry the camera around. It does NOT come with the camera. I have been a photographer for about 15 years now, always advancing my skills, learning as I go.

I really like this camera it has a amazing optical zoom I can usually use it All day on a charge I think it is a good value for the money just pop in a SD card and anybody can take loads of pics and hd quality videos so if anyone is trying to decide on this I believe it is a good value.

Amazing optical zoom

Great starter camera for someone who enjoys photography but is on a budget.  My daughter loves it!! Easy to set up %26 use, picture quality is great!!

I love the quality of the camera itself. The quality of images for its value and capabilities is great. My only downside to the ease of use is if you do not have prior camera experience it really needs a better manual. The manual only tells you the button names not its capabilities. I have prior experience but I’m rusty and could have used know what the settings were for. The battery life is good for a battery operated camera but if you are doing a day trip I highly recommend a power bank just in case you’re doing a lot with the camera that day. Included a few photos taken with the camera unfortunately the portraits I don’t have on my phone I am doing the review on.

I absolutely love the camera. I use the Kodak Pixpro AZ528 specifically for Instagram photos and it works perfectly. Most digital cameras of this quality are very pricey. For the quality of this camera, the price is great. I highly recommend if you're looking for a good starter camera!

I bought this for my son's girlfriend as a Christmas present.  She wanted a camera to get started in photography.  Cameras are expensive and there are some cheap unknown brands out there too, but I wanted a known brand that is good quality.  Kodak has been a trusty brand for years.  This camera works just as well as the more popular brand names with the hefty price tag.  This is a great starter camera for those just starting out in photography.  It takes great action shots and still nature shots.  The picture quality is amazing and the colors are vibrant.  It has a good zoom for the price and the screen shows the picture instantly.  We haven't used it yet for video but will be trying that out as well.

Bang for your buck

Bought as a gift for my daughter and helped set it up! Very easy to set up. She took it scenic views here in wv but at end of day called me and said the clarity wasn’t very good!! I grew up on kodac but in the end I trusted that it was just ok and again not a good picture camera for what she wanted! Sorry Kodac!

Absolute worst camera.  The auto focus is a joke. Impossible to focus on one thing. Settings are complicated and do not help.  No wonder Kodak went out of business. This camera proves it.  Do not buy
