This straightener and the hair mist  are a game changer for my hair! It is soft and straight with no frizz . The appliance is super easy to use and I am eager to try the curl attachment.

My Chi recently stopped working so I did my research and saw some great reviews for Kristin Ess. My new straightener did not disappoint . It made curling so easy. It heated up quickly too. I look forward to trying new things with this straightener that I couldn't do as easily with my Chi.

This hair straightener is great! It goes up the 485 degrees, which is pretty high. It will definitely get you right when straightening your hair. It works wonders with my 4c hair. It's pretty decent is size and safe as well because the outer side doesn't get hot, can be carried anywhere. Absolutely love it. It looks really fancy not gonna lie.

Spectacular Hair Straightener

This flat iron is amazing. When I use it my hair is super straight and when I curl my hair, my curls are awesome. The only thing that annoys me is that it keeps shutting off after every section of hair that I do. It's annoying but I love the product.

I love this flat iron

I just bought my Kristen Ess flat iron about 3 month ago and it worked great!  Made my hair feel so soft.  On my way back home from my last trip, I plugged it in and it turned on but when I tried to select the temp, it would just switch back to Off.  I plugged it into a different plug in and was able to get it to heat up so at least was able to style my hair for my trip home.  When I got home and plugged my flat iron in, it won't do anything when I hold the button down to heat up it only blinks Off.  I miss my iron but have switched to an old one for now that I had until I figure out what to buy.  I love my Kristen Ess flat iron but do not want to purchase another if it only will last 3 months.

I do like how this straightener styles my hair, its easy to use for beachy waves, however it turns off on its own while im using it every 2 minutes (sometimes less). im assuming i have a faulty product, but i have seen this mentioned before so i dont seem to be the only one. Super frustrating to deal with since it has so many good reviews.

It worked alright for ~8 months. Then it kept shutting off within a few minutes. After a few times of this, it started to smell weird and smoking. It then wouldn't turn on at all. I sent it in for a warranty claim and they've had it two weeks now with no feedback other than "Thanks for following up! We connected with our shipping team to request an update on your replacement device. We will update you as soon as we hear back from our team. Thanks for patiently waiting!"

Meanwhile, I don't have a flat iron. I'd rather just get my money back.

It was a decent straightener... until it went haywire
