I bought this steamer to clean my shower and it has worked great. It is easy to setup and fill with water, and the length of the hose is good and manageable. The steam was able to clean the grout, tiles, silicone caulk and glass. I was amazed how nice the shower smelled after giving it a good steam. The steam easily removed soap scum, mold and caked on calcium. The Kaercher SC-3 is a better option than the various, smelly chemicals I was using before. There were other cheaper options available but with high pressure steam I wanted to go with a company like Kaercher that has a proven reliability record. Can't wait to test this on the baked on grease in my oven, excellent product for home cleaning.

The device is very effective in cleaning grout joints of a ceramic floor. They become like new again. It is true that the machine leaves water behind, but it makes perfect sense that steam condenses on cold materials and dirt is found there. A rag, and everything is clean. Gives good results on mirrors and shower doors. It may require several passages to overcome the limestone. Not yet convinced of the effectiveness as floor mop. I'm sorry... Basically, clean what the detergents leave behind.

Very effective for grout joints

We purchased the SC3 to maintain a light-color carpet. We thought that frequent cleaning without cleaning solution would be best. Sure enough, steam cleaning does a great job.

It also does an excellent job on everything else we've tried it on: baseboards, soap scum on tile, scale on faucets, the dishwasher and scuffs on doors.

I strongly recommend this product.

Excellent Buy

The SC 3 Easyfix steam cleaner is very easy to use and requires minimal effort to operate. The steam cleaner is lightweight, and the handle is comfortable to hold.

Quality accessories, simple to use, descaling filter is a great protective device to avoid scale buildup in the boiler. Fast heating. Would recommend!

Simple and effective cleaning!

Very good at cleaning my slate floors including the grout. Have used to clean the bathrooms. I have hard water and so far it is removing the mineral deposits. 👍

So far it's great!

I bought the SC 3 Easyfix after the inexpensive steam mop (Shark) that I previously used for the tiled areas in my house stopped working. It is obviously a much higher quality item and the range of attachments make it more versatile. I have no complaints, the SC 3 Easyfix feels sturdy and works well  It is also surprisingly compact and light, which makes it easy to store and move around.

Product is interesting to use. I like the concept but it has some flaws that I have noticed. It should come with more than one set of cloths that are meant to clean with. The cloths get wet very fast and start to drip a lot. I have to take off the cloths while it's super hot from the steam and squeeze out the water from it. It's annoying to do when trying to complete a job in a fast manner for my cleaning business. Maybe they should be more thicker or more absorbent. Also the spraying hose gets twisted very quickly. It should be designed to not get tangled so quickly. The extension cord is quite short and it should be longer. Also the buttons on the actual machine are quite confusing. I only know that i need to put in water(green) and to add water (red).

Interesting machine

Not powerful enough and takes long to heat up. Filter sign is on most of the time even there is no issues with filter. Not working on tile grouts, and marble surfaces. You need to dry the surfaces after with a dry cloth as it leaves surfaces wet.

Not the best steam cleaner

I have been disappointed with this steam cleaner. The wipe or cloth becomes completely wet and soaks the surfaces after a few minutes of use. There is no holding steam. When I tried to return the product, I had to ask for help because the form was not valid.
