I had been a faithful client of Kashi Go Lean for decades. 
   Yes, you see that correctly. 
   This is not a dictation mistake. 
Even through the time that they didn't tell us they had accidentally gotten things wrong on the label.
     So instead of telling us that, they just changed the serving size.
     And switched a few other things around like the formula.
     Then they change the formula again and then changed it to Go Rise. 

I really wish they would make a version of Kashi Go original protein fiber cereal without added sugar, for goodness sakes.                 Doesn't anyone else? 
    I don't know why they need to add this to it and I just can't use their cereal anymore because of this.
That's a lie. I have been buying there peanut butter cereal as my sugar fix for the past several months. I figure it's better than other things that have sugar because it has protein and fiber. 
But now there's something else I'm eating that as sugar in it and have to have it ... and I don't do well past just a bit of sugar in my life. 
    I know where I get my sugar and I don't have sneaky sugars in foods.
     I eat fresh things that I grow and make from scratch with a the vast majority of my foods.
Eventually, I'll start making my own cereals. 

But I sure wish I could find a cereal that was similar to the seven grains that Kashi uses,
   along with those soy nuggets or a comparable soy protein. 

I would eat it plain and I'd also make a peanut butter version of it.
 And well I would use it in my recipes, 
as I had been doing with Kashi
 before I stopped trusting them 
and before I stopped seeing them as a good choice for cereals for healthy people. 
      Now I see them as a better-than-the-cereals-you're-already-eating choice, for people who don't know about how to eat for life.

I have bought, used, and loved what I think was called Kashi Go Original for a number of years.  I especially appreciated its high fiber and low fat and sugar counts.  Recent purchases, although marked “original,” have been quite different and not like the original I had been buying.  I do not like the new formulation nearly as much as the old version.  More important to me, my persnickety husband, who was never a great fan but who ate it anyway because I convinced him it was good for him, really doesn't like the new formulation and refuses to eat it.  I am currently seeking a replacement.  Unfortunately, for both me and the nice people at the company that made the Kashi Go Original, a product that I loved and that my husband thought was “okay,” I will no longer be including the new Kashi of any kind on my shopping list.  So there!

Kashi Go Original Has Unfortunately Changed

I've eaten the original Kashi products for years and loved them but now they either taste like cardboard or are sickeningly artificially sweet. Really irritated that they've been cheapened with highly processed ingredients. I'm assuming the company is more interested in the mass market sales to new buyers vs the solid loyal core of buyers who wanted the quality products.

Bought several boxes not realizing they had completely changed the recipe of the cereal and shrank the box size by 30%, while also raising the price by 20%.  The new recipe is not satisfying. They got rid of the best crunchy pieces and it has lower protein.  I've been eating this exclusively for 10 years and have now stopped. Looks like a "Catch and kill" operation to eliminate the competition when Kelloggs bought Kashi, so I WILL hold a grudge against them for this.

Was a great cereal, but that's gone now.

I used to add original Kashi to my fruit and yogurt every morning for breakfast. I loved it so much that I would occasionally snack on the cereal by just grabbing a handful out of the box. Not anymore. I understand they've changed the recipe and it's awful. No flavor. Tastes like cardboard.

Very Disappointed by Recipe Change - Tastes Awful

When the new boxes came out I thought it was just a new look. I usually purchase five boxes at a time; Kashi Go w/berries.  My surprise came in the morning for breakfast. I've never tasted a worst cereal in my life. Where are the berries? It has no taste but somehow it tastes like sawdust. I wrote to the company with my complaints and wishing for the return of the old ceral. Their response was sorry here is a coupon go try another of our cereals.

Kashi bring back the old version

I loved this cereal until about a year ago as it's been dry and hard granola in that time, they're must be skipping something to save money, about 4 of the last 5 boxes have been that way like chewing rocks and hardly any taste. I'm done with it.

Gone down hill

Kellogg couldn't complete with what was a great product, so they bought them out, so they can maximize profit while they kill the company. Classic case for an antitrust case. Like they don't have enough space in the store for their crap products. Kellogg should make better more healthy products and support American s.

Not okay

I have been purchasing the Kashi GO Chocolate Crunch cereal for a while and loved the chocolatey taste and crunch.  Now with this new recipe it is so awful it doesn't deserve a rating.  I had to put in a 1 star just to get the review posted. You must be using inexpensive, inferior products to make this cereal.  I guess with the new Owners (Kellogg) they don't care about the consumers or the quality  of their products. Won't be buying it again.  I have switched to Cheerios Chocolate Oat Crunch.
