I have been eating chocolate crunch almost daily for 4 years and absolutely loved its taste and nutritional value.  You recently changed it and I am EXTREMELY disappointed as it was 1 of a few cereals I found very tasty, high in fiber and low in and added sugars.  Seems your “NEW LOOK” notation of the box also meant new recipe.
I see others have shared their disappointment and ask that you bring back the previous recipe. Otherwise, I will discontinue purchasing it.

Disappointing Recipe Change

I used to buy this cereal all the time. It used to have great taste, and the texture wasn't too bad. For some reason they decided to change the recipe, and now it feels like you're chewing and forcing down cardboard. The only way I'll ever eat this again is if they go back to the old recipe

Used to be the best, now it's the worst

Have been buying for maybe 2 years. The new product is awful. Tastes bland, stale, there's a stickiness to it that wasn't there before, some clusters so hard I can't even bite through them without risking damage to teeth. It's not edible, it tastes awful. Bring back the old ingredients/formula. I will not be buying again

New cereal is awful

What happened here?  This used to taste really good.  I used to buy the smaller boxes.  I noticed that when the bigger boxes came out, this lacks flavor.  It tastes like cardboard now.  What is up with that??  Fix it!  Before, I'd give this 5 stars, now i'm being nice to give it 1 star.

NO good now.

This has been my favorite cereal for years. Recently the recipe changed and now it's inedible. It doesn't taste as good, as many other reviewers have noted, but the main problem is that they added chicory root fiber which is a cheap ingredient that adds "fiber" but causes digestive distress for me and a lot of people. I don't have any digestive issues normally and I regularly eat a high-fiber diet, and other fiber additives don't hurt me. So it's not an issue of me not being used to eating 10g of fiber. It's the chicory root. I can't touch this cereal at all now. I'm extremely disappointed.

Terrible recipe change

I have enjoyed Kashi Go Lean Crunch (chocolate) for a few years. Lately every box I have purchased has seemed stale and tasteless. I thought it was just a fluke and checked the exp date. It was no where near expiring. I bought three more times and it had the same stale, bland, taste. Then I started Googling… now I realize those boxes specific boxes were not the issue… Kellogg's recipe changed and drastically altered the taste of the product with a recent recipe change. Such a bummer. I have moved to another brand after buying probably 45 boxes a year for the last several years. Too bad. Can't say I'll ever try the product again.

Some good things come to an end…

This used to be my DAILY cereal. It was delicious and tasted like dessert, but with good macros for fiber and protein. However at some point in the last year, they reformulated it and added in Chicory Root Fiber. I spent years figuring out that that caused me (and many other people) massive gastrointestinal distress and specifically tried the Chocolate flavor since it lacked it. Low and behold they snuck it back in and I spent a month or so eating this daily wondering why I was having such horrible gas.

Shame on you for using this awful awful ingredient that causes so many people harm. You've truly ruined what used to be arguably your best cereal.

Completely ruined with a new formulation.

I agree with the rest of the reviewers that the new version of this tastes both weird and stale.  It was my go to cereal for years and years, and I even hooked my wife on it.  She hates the new taste as well.  I found boxes of the original brought back and somehow still on the shelves and bought it out.  We switched to the cocoa clusters but miss the extra protein in the morning, so am searching for a new cereal unless you bring back the old recipe.

New flavor is awful

I've been eating chocolate Kashi Go cereal for more than 3 years. The cereal in the new 25% more is not the same as the previous cereal. The new one is tasteless. I'm very disappointed. I bought 2 boxes that I won't eat. And I won't be buying your cereal again.
