[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I paid $54.99 for this Kenmore toaster, which I consider a medium price. I wanted more than a cheapie model. I like the looks and it has no plastic that will melt, crumb tray easy to clean. However, the toasting elements are not equal across the slice of bread. One side comes out darker than the other and is slightly burned across the top of my bread slice. Toasting evenly is the most important feature to me, so I'm not happy with this toaster. It's also lightweight and tinny as if made with cheap metal. I'm not trying to return it, but it's also not a quality machine.
