The heat distributes evenly, it's simple to light and the cleanup process couldn't be simpler - why would you ever cook on anything else?! Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-tier outdoor grilling experiences.

Cooking on this grill is like taking a mini culinary adventure! The ignition works just as the gas range you have at home, and it will easily accommodate your biggest dishes. Though I wasn't quite amazed by the advertised heat level, there's still more to explore with its searing functions that are sure to bring out fantastic flavors in whatever meals you're whipping up.

After having the previous iteration of this grill for 8 years without any issues, I decided to upgrade to the newer model. It came with some handy new features like a removable drip pan and instructions that were straightforward enough to follow over the course of two hours or so (which was helpful). The conversion from LP gas however wasn't entirely smooth - I had an issue with getting things hooked up properly when it came time for me to make use of my existing NG regulator. Taking off screws on the manifold is also tedius because they're super tight! Despite these minor hiccups though, once everything's set up you'll be rewarded by a durable product; if taken care of regularly – cleaning grates/pan & covering it when not in use - then your peace-of-mind can last as long as mine did with its predecessor: eight full years. Even better yet, Permasteel customer service has earned itself many brownie points due their exemplary ability answer queries efficiently and effectively whenever needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the entire grill is supposed to be stainless.  I hope it stand up a little better than the older grill near this same model.   like the way the reflectors and burner tubes  are rested now.  The older model had the thin bases rust out.  I don't like the multi burner ignition system. I was always happy with the single igniter burner and then the others came on as wanted in my old Kenmore 4 burner with side range grill.  This 5 burner ignition makes for more wiring, which I have yet to figure why it is not working.  The layout seems better with the warming rack on a stable surface. I need to review the "searing" burner again, but I thought I was getting a range burner for cooking corn, or beans, etc.  This appears more like a grill and from there there is no place for the juices to go.  However, more investigation may reveal the mystery. Assembly was "interesting", the instructions were okay, but I made a few mistakes, and I needed to pre read each page or step., looking at the photos or drawings before proceeding.  I missed  a few steps.  I was impressed that all the screw fastenings had good threads, and went in nicely.  However where the screw went into thin tapped steel it could be easily stripped, so don't go too tight.  The screw going into the firm threaded points were strong.  They could have used self tapping screws, but they went with machine screws, and that is good.  I was also impressed with the perfection of the holes matching the receiving metal or into the threaded nuts.  It all fitted nicely.
Well, time to install the gas tank, find out why the ignition is not working, or just use a match or snap igniter.   Hope everything else works fine.  Fingers crossed

This grill was so great at first. I kept it clean and covered but after a year and a half the burners deteriorated and the bracket that holds them on the back of the grill had also completely deteriorated and there wasn't anything to attach new burners to. I could have made something but Kenmore would never return my call when I requested new burners (under 3 year warranty). Don't buy! no service at all!
