Surrounded by lightweight mesh that promotes air flow and acts as an insect screen, this 2.5 pound travel bed folds and fits into a carry on suitcase! The UV protection and anchor straps for ground attachment are welcome features for outdoor use. The PeaPod comes fully assembled with a sleeping pad snapped to the underside of the floor. No further assembly is needed as it can be folded and stored with the sleeping pad fully attached. A large front zipper panel makes access to children easy. The PeaPod is designed for use with children one to three years old and comes with a carry/storage bag.  When open the PeaPod measures 46”L x 18”H x 28”D. I bought this travel bed in anticipation of a trip to the south with my 6 month old grandson. It was a really good deal. He was sitting by the pool to take a nap or on a sun lounger at the beach. Really very good quality and easy to store and carry. Definitely a good purchase.

I bought this for my 5 year old son that has some disabilities for a couple family vacations, he does not sleep through the night. I needed something to keep him from getting in trouble when he woke up. Well, it was amazing! He did figure out how to unzip it (nothing yarn or zip ties cannot fix). But he rolled it over, stood up in it, and was really rough with in (while inside and out) and the tent is still in perfect condition. His three year old brother was rough with it, too.. He loved laying inside with his books and had a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend this product.

Survived 2 rough toddlers

Bought this for my 9-mont-old grandchild to use while visiting.  Easy to set up.  Folding is easy once you get the hang of it.  Fit on the floor of the closet, allowing draft-free sleeping space for the baby.  Mom loved it so much she took it home with her.

Perfect portable bed for infant and toddler.

This travel bed is light and incredibly easy to set up.  Simple to take down once you understand the instructions, which are relatively clear.
Colour not bright as it appears in the pictures, more a burgundy.  
I wish it was a bit taller.  It is long enough for my child to sleep comfortably, but she can't sit up to rearrange herself (she is 2, and on the smaller size).  She makes do by wiggling around but it does make it harder for her to settle.
She also gets pretty sweaty in there as the bottom doesn't really breathe.  There is mesh on the sides and top that helps, but where her face and body touch the ground of the bed heat gets trapped and she gets hot.
A good option for travel, though, so much more convenient than lugging around a play pen or hoping to book cribs along the way.

Lightweight and easy to use

I bought this not long ago and used it for camping, fit in my tent really well but I find the cushion not thick enough, I had to buy a carpet to put underneath. Overall , I find it safe for a 14 month old compared to other products I saw on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] first of all, it said big enough for 5y old, and the box says 3y old. I have a 4y old that's taller, or shall I say longer than this pod.

Be careful your child "understands" that he is sleeping in this bed. My 11-month-old bebe just wanted to get out and toppled it all by his strength and he didn’t understand why he was there. My 3 year old son wants to sleep in for fun....and perfect crst. Easily stowable and not complicated.

Very practical and well designed but...
