Not child sized. There are not any low pegs for the children to reach on their own. I have had several different kinds over the years and they all had 3 sections that screwed together so I could leave out the center to make it shorter for the kids to reach on their own, but this only has the two sections. But it is made very well.

High quality coatrack.

Nice coat rack for a child. I like the honey color and it was easy to set up. Tall enough and sturdy enough that I think we'll get much use out of it. I wish it had a few more pegs on it, but I knew that when ordering it.

KidKraft Coat Rack

I purchased two of these-- one in pink (for daughter's room) and one in natural (for boy's room). It works GREAT for keeping clothes--- their pajamas, day clothes, hoodies, well organized and off the floor and dresser. The boys' 5 & 7 reach it perfectly and can hang their clothes by themselves. I hang the clothes up for my 2 yr. old because she can't reach it just yet. The pink one came perfectly without any damage, however the one in natural came a little cracked but not so much that I felt I had to return it. Otherwise, shipping was VERY fast even though I chose the Free shipping option and the packaging was great and directions easy to follow it took about 5 minutes to put it all together. It's great for teaching kids organization and keeping things in order. No more clothes on the dressers and floors! Yay!!!! Also, they don't fly through clothes because this way they can wear the same clothes for several days if not soiled, etc... because they stay neatly hung. Saves on washing...So you get the point...I'm very excited what this item had to offer for us....hope it does the same to you.

great for kids room!

Ordered this online, picked it up at the store in less than a week. Good solid wood and very sturdy. It was a snap to put together and the grandkids love that they can easily reach the pegs to hang their jackets and backpacks after school. Would definitely recommend this for next to entrance doors or in a child's room.

Great for kids

I got this so my girls could hang their jackets up in winter. It stays in their room. I was happy with the quality for the price, no chipped paint or broken parts, it went together smoothly without struggling with screw holes, adjustment, etc... and it's tall enough that my preschoolers can use it through elementary school. I like it so much that I purchased a second one.

Adorable and good quality

Got this for my 4 and 6 year olds who can't reach our normal size coat tree and so drop their coats on the foyer floor. Went together with ease and looks nice. They like it so far- coats are hung up! Fit the bill.

Kiddo coat rack

Purchased this in red to use as a place to hang our Christmas stockings. It works perfectly and is also a bit of a conversation piece when people visit.
