Love this purchase so far! It was pretty easy to put together. It's very sturdy and big with lots of room to create. I knew it would be out in a main area of our home and wanted something that was aesthetically pleasing for both kids and parents. The chalkboard material is great! It's not the typical texture of chalkboard that gets super dirty. This wipes off very cleanly. I love all the storage! There is bonus storage in between the two boards that fits all our art supplies. I would deduct 1/2 a star because one of the boards came slightly chipped.

This easel is very cute. Luckily there wasn't too many pieces to put it together like some of the other items made by kid craft. I am a little disappointed that all of the wood is raw and unfinished - especially for this price. I feel like all the markers and paint is going to stain it like crazy whereas if it was painted you would be able to wipe it off.

It's ok

Nice design and sturdy for my 3 year old grand daughter to use.  Plenty of storage for erasers, chalk and dry erase pens.  The only thing I would pass on to the designer is to change the color of the entire easel to a darker color, perhaps in primary colors like green, blue, red or purple, to help cover up the  "over coloring marks" that my grand daughter did coloring outside her boundaries.

Great for toddlers

I just put this together today - all went well except I needed to drill a new hole in one area that it should have been.  If we didn't have the wood drill bit, I would have been frustrated, but otherwise, it looks really nice and just like the picture.  As one other reviewer stated, the wood is untreated and one mark of crayon, paint, marker, etc and it's stained forever.  I'm going to add a Clear Polyurethane to prevent staining, but have not done so as of yet.  Excited for my 4 year old to receive this from Santa!

Very nice easel for my 4 year old

Bought this on sale for a Christmas gift for my 2 year old, it was very easy to assemble but the wood is cheap make. You can't apply to much pressure when assembling or wood would crack. However, I love how this product has lots of storage. I know my toddler will put good use to this either way.

Loads of storage!

We loved the look of this easel, but the blackboard is glossy and chalk doesn't stick to it. It was also disappointing that it wasn't magnetic like other easels we looked at. We ended up returning the product to find something our daughter would have more fun with.

Pretty, but not functional

The overall quality is decent but the dry erase board had a crack in each top corner when I first opened the box before assembling. I think the slot for sliding paper through was made too close to the top of the overall bird causing weak points.

Decent but possible poor design.

The Create N Play Art Easel looked good initially before we attempted to assemble and then had to spend nearly 75 mins to try and align the inserts with the wood pieces without destroying the plywood boards. Definitely was not much quality control performed at the factory.

Assembly nightmare!

The quality is awful! Many chipped pieces including the chalkboard. They drilled the wrong side of the chalkboard to put the screws through!!! Very disappointed. Buyers beware!
