Materials and construction are of good quality.

Overall, great purchase. Got it on sale and it arrived with the box looking damaged but no broken pieces inside thankfully. It took my husband 5-6 hours to complete but he's not the most handy. We are keeping it inside but right now the cedar smell is very strong. It's quite dark inside the house so we may add a battery operated light.

This is such a well-made and adorable playhouse and despite all the other reviews saying that pieces were cracked I had no issues at all. The instructions were perfect and this 67-year-old grandma put it together without any help but it did take most of the weekend. I painted all the accent pieces pink and put it in my basement because we live in Colorado and I wanted my granddaughters to be able to play with it all year long.  I'm 5'4" and after stooping to get in the front door I can stand up all the way in the middle of the house.  Worth every penny.

Perfect playhouse

I wasn't fond of the colors so I painted it to farm house colors as we assembled it. White house, black roof and windows with gray trim and magnolia door called Weekend.....turned out great my little granddaughters love their new house Nana bought them!

Farmhouse Remodel

This playhouse is amazing for this price! it is rather large, perhaps 6 feet tall. My husband and myself assembled this in about 3.5 hours. We are keeping this indoors since we have a large play area. This is perfectly fine to keep outdoors as well. The majority of the structure is wood. It
 is very sturdy. Our boys were excited to have this playhouse.

Great deal on a nice playhouse.

This house is adorable!! And honestly it seems like its decent quality. We didnt have any issues with parts or wood splitting. The assembly is a bit of a pain, but its not too bad. It does take several hours though. I also gave it a little makeover and now its just perfect!

Adorable!

Love this playhouse! It has taken a long time to put together because of all the pieces and we took our time, but it is awesome! Real wood and details. We built a base creating a plywood floor and attached it to it to prevent blowing it away (Oklahoma) and it's sturdy. We still need to attach flower window boxes and plant flowers with grandkids when they come this week. I am attaching solar lights to inside ceiling for free light after dark. Love it

Best real wood playhouse

House was very cute. A few parts were a bit damaged like split wood on the door but We were able to fix with wood filler and staples.  It took my husband and I three days to complete because we painted it first before assembling. Happy with our purchase.

Walmart online ordering is great and this was the easiest playhouse we have built so far for our in-home daycare. It was very affordable and really cute when completely built. Kidcraft makes a good product and are very easy to work with for replacement parts to refresh their play systems.  All of the pieces came in the box in great condition and were properly numbered. The directions were very clear. We worked at a slower pace and still had it built in the timeframe they stated it would take (3-4 hours). We left off the little flower boxes in front to add later when my younger kiddos get a little bigger. Our older, larger kiddos can stand up inside the playhouse with plenty of room to spare. We would have given the playhouse 5 stars with the exception that Walmart uses FedEx as their carrier and it took over a week longer to receive the playhouse than necessary. It sat in the FedEx location for the majority of time and we only got it delivered because we called and asked if we could just come and pick it up. I thought that the size and weight of the box was causing the delay but we purchase many of our toys for our in-home daycare from Walmart and have has this same problem with many items we have recently purchased. I encourage Walmart to choose another carrier until FedEx can get their act together.

In-Home Daycare

This house took me over a week to build only because I did a remodel. It came broken/splintered in some place but I blame that on logistics (FedEx). Not entirely blaming FedEx too. That poor driver delivered it himself when it should've been a team life… anyways. I was able to fits the cracks and broken pieces with wood glue. I sanded off the doors paint so it can be sanded. I painted the exterior and interior with exterior paint. Painted the windows, sink, stove, and pans with semi-glass spray paint. I added on a bunch of decor, solar lights, etc to make it more homie. Found some cute kid appliances and added this wood flooring puzzle pads for a soft but natural flooring. My family loves it! The working doorbell is hilarious. You can definitely make this a special little house. Overall, buy it! You won't regret it- I hope!

Cute house but has flaws

The play house is very attractive and the grandkids love it.  Some pieces arrived broken, but we were able to glue them.  The biggest negative is the dimensions.  The playhouse was advertised as 55x66x69 inches.  In reality it is 43x50x68.  If I am generous and add in the overhang, it's 46x60x68.  This is a sizable discrepancy and should be corrected.

Attractive Playhouse

The house was delivered and pieces were damaged!!! We were so upset as this was a Christmas gift. The package is so heavy and I will need to repackage it but it's so impossible because it was stuffed into a huge box! I hope that the return process will be easy.
