Bought this for our granddaughter. It took nearly 1.5 hours to assemble. It's very sturdy and has slow closing lid to prevent injury. Beautiful job with granddaughter's name written on front. It is wood which is another nice feature.

Very helpful

I'm a little disappointed there is no option to have names other than those that land in the Top 20 Most Popular girl names! My daughter's name is not super trendy or super popular, but it would be nice to have the option of a "custom" name, not just what Kid Kraft thinks is popular. No offense to anyone out there that bought this specifically for a child whose name is listed, but it's a little annoying to see that those are my only option!

More names, please!

This toy box was royal pain to put together, some of the laminated "wooden" pieces came out of the box cracked, and the safety hinge did not work and tore out of the lid the first time we opened it. The lid is very heavy, and I would be leary of using it without the safety hinge. The surface also scratches very easily. The screws and bolts are painted white, but the paint was chipping off of them as soon as I opened the package and chipped even worse during assembly. Upon completion, my hands and the floor were covered in white flecks of paint that came off of the screws. I would definitely not have paid as much as I did for it knowing what I know now.

Not so great

This product is very sturdy. I like that fact that it matches the decor in my family room. It looks like a piece of furniture rather than a toy box in the corner. It was fairly easy to put together. The tools were vacuum packed and packaged individually, which was nice. I wish this product were larger. The depth and height are good, but I wish it were longer. It isn't very large and it is pretty expensive for such a small toy box. Just adding another foot would make a huge difference. This item is made by KidKraft. It arrived intact and packed neatly in the box. The directions were easy to follow and the diagrams were equally as easy. For the price that I paid, I just expected more.

Wish it was bigger..

I ordered this for my granddaughter, Abigail. It was sent to the store where they could pick it up and was actually there long before the expected date.

Beautiful toy box!

Easy to put together

I purchased the cherry version of this toy box a year and a half ago for my toddler. She climbs and jumps on it, bangs her toys into it, and generally abuses it as much as your average toddler would. It has stood up very nicely. That is why I purchased a second one for my older daughter for Christmas. She loves it. The pieces (it doesn't come assembled) are heavy duty and easy to put together. I did it alone in about 30 minutes. It is a great buy!

Kid Tough Toy Box

This is a great piece of furniture. It was easy to assemble. The size was great- it holds a lot of my daughter's things in the box itself and you can also display things on top or use it as a bench. The toybox is also on wheels, which makes it easy to move.

We recently purchased this toy box, but have decided to take it back to the store for a refund. While trying to put this together we ran into several problems. One problem is that the screws had too much paint on them and wouldn't fit into the bolts provided. If you gave any force to tightening the screws, the wood from the box split apart. The paint also chipped very easily. For $130, I would have expected a much better product. I would not reccommend this product to anyone!

Not worth the price!
