The pieces come numbered to facilitate organized assembly. Some minor instructions were missing which necessitated a few screw removals and such. The wood is very lightweight so I was scared to sit on it but would rather that I got hurt versus my 50 lb grandson. A few holes were wider than they should have been so I used some would glue and a prayer on that non weight bearing piece.  It's a bit rough to the touch so it could definitely use some sanding and paint or stain & shellac

Wood is much lighter than expected-medium quality
