This game is a great game to play. It has 4 courses, each with its own unique theme (18 holes per course). You get the choice of playing the Front 9 holes, Back 9 holes or all 18 holes. If you need practice you also have the option of playing a single hole until you are satisfied with your performance.

Initially you start with only one course open - the Halloween course. Once you are able to get par on both the Front 9 holes and the Back 9 holes OR the 18 Hole course, you will then unlock the next course.

The biggest challenge my wife and I had with this game was figuring out how to aim. Best technique we learned was to use our characters head (chin or top of their head). This tends to guide you fairly well as there is no guidance lines to help you line up you shot.

If you do not wish to use putting motions to hit the ball (i.e. to difficult for yourself), you can always use the arcade mode. This mode is significantly easier, as it is based of the degree of the tilt of the controller - not the motion of the controller.

The four themes - Halloween, Carnival, Egyptian, and Ice Age.

This is a great game for the money. I had my doubts at first, but found it to be entertainig and challenging. Both of my kids (ages 2 and 8) love to play as do I. This is great family fun!!!

This is a fun game....till you can't unlock the other levels. It is kinda a pain that you have to unlock the other levels by being even or under the par points. We've had this for 3 days now and still haven't been able to get past the Halloween level. Then there is only 4 different levels which is kinda upsetting. But I'm sure they'll be fun once if we ever get them unlocked. We do have fun with this game my 7 year old is kicking my butt. :-) hopefully i can find more games like this with more levels. O and the graphics are petty good. They could be better but their not bad. You can create your own golfer too which is fun. Not much to choose from but better than nothing.

ok game

Bought this thinking my 4 year old could play it. He loves mini golf. Some of the holes are extremly hard for him. It does allow him to just play certain holes which is nice.

Cool !

Wasn't impressed with this game. It took a long time to load in between everyone's turns so it took too long to play and the interest was lost quickly.

Took forever in between turn

Likes...customizable characters, challenging courses, great graphics. Dislikes...Only four 18-hole courses? Really! I bought this for my father for Father's Day with another Golf game for the Wii, and the cheaper game had far more options available (and one more course). While we enjoyed playing the game, it is over quickly and we spend more time playing the other mini-golf game. I am disappointed in the lack of quality golf related games for the Wii. I would recommend this to anyone with a short attention span small budget. I would be willing to pay more for a more robust golf game for the Wii, after all Mario and friends costs and arm and leg...maybe they should host a golf tourney!

This game has potential but falls short

We were very excited to get this mini-golf game for the family because we enjoy the regular golf game on Wii Sports. However, this is definitely not a small-child friendly game. If you don't get par or better, your Yuu character hits itself in the head repeatedly with the golf club. I was disappointed at the bad example this sets for my children. It is also difficult to control - you could swing hard and the ball hardly moves, or you can swing a tiny bit and the ball flies across the course. We calibrated the remote every time, too. We'll keep the game for adults to play, but it's not a family-friendly game.

Disappointed

This is the worst Wii game ever! It is so slow and all you do is push a button and it swings for you, but it is so sensitive. I would take it back if I could!

When your golfer does not make the hole in a few hits then it takes the golf club and beats it on the side of the the golfers head 3 times.

That is sick to see values like this from any game.
